Gritanni will sit in the chatroom all day during pre-market and market hours and answer questions, as well as letting people know what he's trading (but he doesn't give alerts because he wants people to learn how to be self-sufficient instead of just following). This guy is a multi-millionaire, he doesn't have to do that. It really says a lot about what a quality human being he is, to mentor people like that while he's working. Sykes too. Another quality human being, and a great teacher.

Tim Gritanni's story is fascinating. The man is a genius. When you think about his strategies in promotions on how he cheats his emails to get the fastest speed. It may not be a pattern/strategy I follow, but you can appreciate why this man is one of the best traders alive right now. It's amazing how Tim Gritanni isn't a bigger celebrity, it's amazing how the whole world doesn't realize how good this guy is. It's not about learning from one person who is great, but learning from all of the greats. Looking forward to diving deeper into this interview!

Perhaps I can save you some time. Tim donates to charity and doesn't fantasize about becoming a billionaire. He plays a handful of strategies. Depending on your temperament, some of those will work for you comfortably, some will not. Finding the penny stock that fits one of the strategies can consume a lot of time, so hanging out with other folks who are looking at them as well might have advantages. He's not afraid to hold overnight or over the weekend, which seems to pay off most of the time. He cuts losses quickly but apparently doesn't place stops because he knows market makers will stop folks out. As you'd guess, the approach means you have to do research and you have to watch the market.

You know, I have both seen and listened to different stock traders. What I have deducted from observation is the commonality of information, just different styles of trading and teaching. For the most part, all of them teaches the same strategy but is strong or bias at types of strategy. I like positive talk and no disparaging of others in the game just to get ahead of the other. Good job.

It's hard to understand when you've been in less than a year that one day it WILL click. Don't give up & think you'll never get it. I promise that as Grittani said " screen time will build confidence" is extreme truth. You can't understand it until you've experienced it, & when you do it's very liberating feeling . No matter how many losses, don't give up until you experience the click.
@Francisco-Danconia

MikeMcD1989 probably the most important thing any trader should do is just get screen time. It changes everything. That, and taking the time to think about what other traders are actually thinking, as reflected in the chart formations. Understanding the motivations of both experienced traders and amateurs, combined with trading the time and sales + level 2... The context you can get out of all that is immense!

Buy low, sell high. N buy the right companies, know industry u trading, learn market by trading, learn by watching urself in ups n downs. Take large positions, n pick the winners with real propositions for industry, closeout all noise, listen to your gut. I did alright in one year... Probably better than any one...learn when to buy that is easy... When to sell is the hard part... There is math, I won't give my secret sauce but remember the KISS principle... Meditate n avoid noisy n not peaceful people, religion n mediation is important to keep arrogance down

Hope you read Tim... Honestly always knew u was a great teacher and trader but for a while just being honest I thought u showed off and bragged to much but now I finally see y.. I've been trying to tell alot of ppl about looking into day trading cuz I want them to better them selves and it goes in one ear and out the other... So I see y u show the money I see y u show the things u can buy the things u can do not to show off cuz u obviously don't benefit from that but believe u do it so then maybe people can finally open their eyes and realise the possibilities... Yes maybe some will dislike you just a little but at least their eyes will be opened to the possibilities.... I'm annoyed and tired of trying to tell ppl to look into it when I don't benefit from it and it seems like they just don't want to better themselves so y should I focus on it so much....

Paused at 12:00, patience with break-outs, impatience with dip-buys. This makes a lot of sense to me, because dip-buys obviously have resistance and it's better to sell quicker and "scalp" 5-10%, versus holding a break-out for 10-20-30% (Even Friday over-weekend hold). Excellent discovery!

The comments on patience I see in action daily lately. Since I'm still under the PDT rule I've noticed that although I like dip buys, you need to take profits quickly. It's hard to do because you burn your trades to fast. For the PDT rule overnight holds on breakouts seem to be the way to go and work better. Thanks for the video!

You can study till the cows come home, but you only learn when you start trading, and it's not the market that's the enemy, the real battle is you, and your own mind set. I've found trading to suit your own personality is best, their is countless successful traders out their, that day trade, and long term investors. So what I'm hearing here is the same thing, it's your own psychology that is the number one thing to trading, and it's the same with the market as well. Like Yoda once said, "do or don't do, their is no try".

12:09 ... so there wins and loses is all about whether there patient or not. Now that's the best tip ever. Who would ever think that's why they winning or loosing. So it boils down to not strategy BUT if you have patience or not.
@Francisco-Danconia
6 жыл бұрын
John Steller932 I'm sorry but that's a total misunderstanding. Success is a combination of all required things. You can't disregard any of them. In the context of what they were talking about, Tim grittani's patience pays off because all-day-faders take all day to fade, or a couple of days. However dip Buys in general don't Spike very long on average, so it's easier to lose on them by being patient. The shittiness of penny stocks acts like a gravity that is pulling them all down to zero. The edge in penny stocks is almost entirely to the downside which is why patience on the downside pays. Even then you must cut your losses quickly. If you listen closely, Tim grittani said he would be up 10% in a dip by and try to be patient and it would go down and give him a loss. Note that he was patient with a winner, not a loser.
