It's bloody awesome. The drumming rocks. It's like a 90s dance tune, almost drum and bass, all floating vocals mixed with block rocking beats.

Pentangle created a name, a sound, and succeeded making it entirely theirs.

there is no greater guitarist than bert jansch. except maybe john renbourne.....but i much prefer the feel of bert. this is the perfect combination of british folk and jazz. and like the person above me said, that drummer is fucking SICK.

Doesn't Jansch walk the tightrope between coolest guy on the planet and nerd. What a guitar player. I met him at a gig 3 years ago and he's incredibly shy. He can be seen as rude, but I don't care; he's a legend

No bands these days are this finely in tune with themselves, or their instruments. It's so beautiful to see that something such as this has survived long enough to be immortalized on the internet.

I know that everyone has their own taste but I find it very very hard to understand why anyone would dislike this performance. Each member of the band was on form and it has to be one of the most coolest performances ever. Thanks for posting.

Possibly my favourite You Tube video, certainly my most viewed! This is my favourite version of this Pentangle track, the musicianship is just insane. Please, someone release this on a crisp new 45.
