At a Zócalo event on about how we can make a better L.A., Joel Garcia, artist, cultural organizer, and director of Meztli Projects moderated a panel featuring Youth Development Coordinator at Youth Justice Coalition Gloria Gonzalez, and Sissy Trinh, Founder and Executive Director of the Southeast Asian Community Alliance.
During the discussion, Gonzalez put a face to the people impacted by current policies. "These are real people-not a statistic or a number," she said.
