I remember eating these when I was younger, just really missed them and now wanting to have some again.

I will be honest. Not being swedish, I got to love these at IKEA. But that does not make them any less tasty :) give it a shot!

Thank you so much. I made about 100s biscuits out of 250 gr of flour. Thats was very delicious. I just used white sugar. It was very crunchy.

Looking forward to trying this. May have to half the recipe in which case I believe this may be correct: Recipe halved= 125g = 1 cup all purpose flour ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp cinnamon ¼ tsp ground cloves ¼ tsp ginger ¼ tsp ground cardamom ½ stick of butter ¼ cup casters sugar ¼ cup brown sugar ½ egg ¾ tsp maple syrup

How should the consistency be in the end? Crunchy or soft?

Hello! I am not an expert, but traditionally I believe very crunchy. If you prefer soft texture, that is fine. You can either make the dough slightly thicker, bake for a shorter period of time, or add a moist ingridient into cookier jar with the cookies, like half an apple

@@KitchenSK thanks, I work at a bakery and I want to make these to sell during December. I want them as traditional as I can so some crunch is good. Also, tastes great with honey as the syrup(it's all I had)
