Pepper of the day #5: Teseque (or Tesuque)

Capsicum annuum. These are heirloom Chiles from the Tesuque Indian Pueblo north of Santa Fe, NM. They’ve been around since the 1200s! These are on the hot side of a jalapeño and much more flavorful and complex! It’s been fun growing something rare and special. Great for roasting or drying.
