Really want to thank you for bringing this brand into the light. I agree, the value proposition here is really in it's own league. I had the chance to view that same model of Rue Royale at an AD in Rhode Island - the only one in the US that carries the brand. I decided that I won't be purchasing any other watches until after I have the funds for a Paris Royale, with the Thermal Blue Breguet Numerals and Guilloche pattern dial. If you can get your hands on one, I would love a review! Cheers from a fellow RedBar member, NYC!

Update - I have pulled the trigger and am *patiently* awaiting the arrival of my Royale Origine. I opted for the time only automatic with power reserve indicator, silvered opaline dial. Got a great deal through the AD too! I'll share photos when I can 😊.

Now that's a lovely watch. It's a bit florid for my tastes but it's easy to appreciate all the effort and skill in it, as well as the complications.

I do prefer my more simple manual wind model David, but like you say this is still a very impressive dial with all its detailing 👍🏻

just got a silver paris royale, serial implies extremely low volume. what's better than an unheard of in-house watchmaker in some cozy french village, proudly 5 miles from the swiss border? the dial (and crescent moon movement) more beautiful than a breguet or cartier in my opinion, thus one of the most beautiful of _all time_

They are one of the best kept secrets of the horological world Ptyko , I own the Royale Manual and love it , think I'm one of only a very few reviewers to have videos out there I've only around 5 videos on my channel but I think thats more than anyone else lol

@@ClickSpringReview another beauty, and unbeatable for the price (everyone says this, but with pequ its true!). there are many obscure in house watchmakers but ive never found anything like this

Same here if they had a good marketing team there prices world be 3x what they are now , but they are just not willing to spend any money in that department, Which is good for us :)

@@ClickSpringReview Yes, i was willing to pay their msrp, which is relatively low, but they sell for much less than even that! I have a Nomos and Seiko's which are famous for their value, but I would say Pequ has them beat. Wasn't easy finding this brand, but lucky we did.

a really very nice and fairly priced watch but unfortunately no stop seconds

It is true unfortunately, but I find when the power is low you can stop the second hand with back pressure to the crown just like on a Paneria and so you can set it dead on
