That is such a gorgeous pattern! I want to try it using leftover Unforgettable yarn to see if it would drape sufficiently for a stole. Thank you for again showing us how simple a complex pattern can be to make! You rock! It reminded me of an afghan I made three of about 35 years ago. So I had to go find the pattern. It was in a 1973 printing of "McCall's How To Crochet It!" book. It's similar. I'll email a pic to you.

Hi. If one does multiples of 12 chains upto the length needed and then add the 8 chains won't the finished item end up longer than needed? Would really appreciate your response.
