Heh - I went out on a session last night and I LEFT the dang meter somewhere... never happened before! I had to go replace the thing today - maybe the video cursed it! LOL

Thanks so much. I just sat in an introduction to flash class on Saturday. So, this video was both timely as a follow-up to that class and helped with a better understanding of how to get started. I wasn't completely sure about the ambient light. But, now I understand that in the beginning the ideas is to eliminate the ambient light. Thanks!

Everyone doesn't teach it that way, but I've found once you just understand the flash part, it makes the rest a lot easier.

@@CoffeeandPhotographyTalk Yeah, I watched a video before the class I took that talked about mixing ambient and flash so when I went to the class I was confused.
