Most needed video, especially for me. I failed many a time with cooking millets and finally settled with using the flour instead. I still cant differentiate one millet from the other. Would love to see a video explaining each.

Does the kodo millet always have a husky texture? I soaked and cooked the kodo millet but when i eat it has husky leftover. Is it how it is usually?? Or did i do something wrong?

Are kodo millet and quinoa same? They look very similar
@BeyondBhoomi

Kodo millet and quinoa may look similar, but they're not the same. Kodo millet is a tiny cereal grain, while quinoa is a seed related to spinach. Both offer unique nutritional benefits!

Which one is more nutritious raw unpolished millets or parboiled millet? Has Dr khadar sir given any advice on this?
@BeyondBhoomi

Parboiled Millets go through a three fold process of soaking, steaming and drying before hulling. You can use whichever form of Millet is easily available at your place - Raw, Unpolished or Parboiled. Ongoing research on the effects of Parboiling Millets say that Parboiling increases the bio availability of nutrients by reducing the Phytate / Phytic acid content because of the pre soaking. It has also been found to make the grain tough, improve shelf life, increase it's resistance to insect attacks, reduce the water uptake while cooking and the cooking time and provide more satiety.
