This lesson has immediately brought me back to pre-Covid form, possibly even better. I’ve suffered balance issues since getting the virus and couldn’t naturally see the angle of the object ball anymore. Your “chin lock” and and “approach” technique before my practice strokes and “set” has has given me a surefire way to know I’m in alignment even when my brain is telling me different from the Covid side effects. Thanks!

My record is 55 balls without a miss and no ball in hand (closed eyes). Just play from the position. This drill is best for those who can't stand still during the shot. When u close ur eyes and shoot u never move ur head up. This drill 30 mins every day helps u standing still. It helped me a lot 👌

Great tips. I'm a very solid player, (8-9 speed) but I am rusty because I took a 10-year break. And I'm finding things just don't always feel right, so I'm having to go back to the basics. This was very helpful. Ive found the front foot needs to be pointed parallel or close to parallel to the shot line.

I am 66 years old and I wish I had this info and the benefit of this instruction when I was younger. I am currently a 7 in APA Nine ball but I feel like I am a weaker 7 than most. I have only shot APA for a year. I would have been a strong 7 and maybe even a mid level 8 when younger even though I lacked this knowledge and consistency. I only found your videos 2 weeks ago and already it has improved my game. Thanks much.

Your videos are always helpful, thank you. I’m right handed with a very dominant left eye. If i aimed with a slight head tilt would that effect my delivery as I find pushing my whole heard across my target line uncomfortable

Love this video. I'm a golf coach & instructor so don't get to play pool as much as I'd like to. I'm right eye dominant. You talk about putting the right side of your shoe on your shot line. What if you turn your feet out a little? My right foot would be across my shot line not parallel to or alongside it. Thanks for your help!

It’s a very precise thing. Vision center is the best answer. You have to do several tests and then work on your foot placement to be sure your vision center is on the shot line. Everything I posted in the video is general information. Will not be perfect for everyone. Love to have you in my online class. Call me at 606-669-8401 for a free consultation.

Do you give in-person lessons? Recently got back into pool after a 15 yr break, I'm having difficulty with consistency and getting back to the level I once played at (B+/A- range). I think it's mainly a fundamentals problem.

I also noticed that when you were shooting the 15 balls, at address, your forearm wasn't hanging vertically from your elbow therefore your right hand was in front of vertical from your elbow. Yet, it works for you. I'd like your thoughts please.

Make sure your stroke is appropriately long for each shot and that your grip is far back enough that it’s not restricted in Y-axis movement. That Y-axis tension with a straight aiming line and follow through will keep your stroke from deviating

Try running your cue across your chest lightly when you stroke. If you hold the cue in place against your chest the stroke should be true.

Shift the aim point in the direction of the throw. (On object ball). Outside English, thinner hit. Inside English, thicker hit. Speed will change this, only practice develops your feel for it.

that 15 ball is to easy for you. need to run then in order LOL. I see the point though. your really focusing on mechanics and alignment and its harder to do if your having to play a ton of position on the cueball like rotation.
