This is an interesting idea but I absolutely hate it when people say, "It smells synthetic/chemical." Or just says horrible or disgusting and not even say why. Or as a supposed professional, what component might he be smelling that's making it smell chemical? "I know exactly what they're using here." but doesn't mention any note or accord he smells. I don't mind the descriptive, even what-would've-been-funny imagery but man lol. If FRAG-MENTAL didn't mention anything, the "perfumer" wouldn't have mentioned any note/accord. You get absolutely nothing out of this supposed perfumer lol. "Now that you mention Black Orchid...." You guys know what I smell? I smell pretentiousness. :S Out of all those, I've only smelled the Zara one. It won but when I smelled it, I found it toothachingly sweet. :/ Yikes. 0 knowledge to be had from the video considering this is a perfumer. Disappointing.

He was holding back a fair bit, possibly as he needs to keep face for his own products. Cheapies have a place, but they are bound to be more chemical. Some of us can't afford the big expensive brands, especially at the beginning when we start our journey. When you get further in, i.e, 3 years like myself and realise over 400 frags, mainly cheapies, is a bit silly, then you start to realise you need no more and focus on sampling better quality fragrances and having quality over quantity. £1 for 100ml is telling you what you are going to get though. Niche in general is much better, but even some niche is terrible. It's an expensive hobby to explore. I only have the Oud 24 hours from the video, and think it's pretty good, but my nose isn't as professional as Aaron's and can imagine that Black Orchid is a far better creation. Should try a vid where it's 5 cheapies and 5 niche - Aaron will know the difference for sure, but would still be interesting.

Synthetic ingredients he means, higher end fragrance houses like Creed or Floris use more natural extracts for their ingredients and it's a bit less harsh and less linear, gives the fragrance some depth and it won't give you a headache like a lot of synthetic fragrances might. If you don't mind harsh openings than synthetic fragrances are fine, but once you get your nose on some beautifully crafted fragrances, you start to realize how shit some lower end fragrances actually are. At one point Versace Eros smelled amazing to my nose, but now it's just a shell of how good higher end Tonka based fragrances actually are. It also doesn't help that he's a perfumer himself, so he knows what natural, high end ingredients actually smell like, there's a bit of a bias there, but it's like guitar, 99% of people can't tell the difference between one guitar or another, (much the same way most people won't be able to tell the difference between a high end fragrance and a low end one), but if you're a musician, you can tell the difference immediately.

Shocked to do a little research on our guy ATH, I wanted to like this guy so badly but sketchy marketing practices, mixes his fragrances in an un-sterile environment with animals running around using plastic and other cheap materials. That is a huge no-no and I'm sure the health organization over there wouldn't be pleased and I'd advise anyone to report that practice which I'll be doing. A good friend of mine was asking about shipping and Aaron was being super sketchy and eventually gave the excuse about his anxiety and dyslexia not being able to ship etc. That is not a way to run a business, and I would suggest everyone else do their research on this character before you spend your money on his fragrances. Most unprofessional "house" I've ever seen. Any slight criticism and he gets all defensive and deletes comments constantly I don't like the world snowflake but that is on the nose with Aaron. That's the world we live in when you're posting on an online platform. Has other failed businesses under different names.
