I’m just gonna put my opinion on this game and it’s ending. This ending wasn’t one that made me sad it was over. I was happy it happened. I felt satisfied. This game’s journey was awesome. I also think P4 did a better job making me sad it was over. Maybe I just liked the characters more. Also, the goodbye with corner of memories playing and everyone running after the train. Then Never More plays which sounds very similar to corner of memories (the title theme) P4 was my first persona game so I was a little slow. P5 I powered through in just like 2 weeks

The epilogue I imagine in my mind for my most favorite char in the game: After partying ways with his bro, he kept on training and overcoming his physical handicaps, eventually becoming a top athlete again which allowed him to get a sportsmanship for a prestigious sports university. His inner rage has now transformed into a fiery competitive but also supportive spirit, leading his teammates into victory in multiple times. After graduating, he became one of Japan's MVPs, making a long career as a very successful and beloved PE professor, aiding other people with handicaps and disabilities so they can overcome their personal grieves. And still, while observing his students with a smile on his face, he looks at the stars saying: "We did it, Ren Ren."

English: Living life when were young Trying to find where we belonged Never thought those days would see an end Mirror, mirror do you see The misery roaming in the streets Doesn't mean a thing, got to look ahead now And leave it all behind me With all your might Take the fragments of your past And let them flow into the sands of time You'll be alright You must believe If there's one thing that I've learned It's that the truth will always lie with me It's in my heart Tomorrow waits So come what may I'll keep the faith until that day From the night the stars aligned Knew we'd be close for quite some time Guess the heavens had a plan for us Every day we gave our all Making dreams happen, big or small All these memories light a fire in me And keep the passion burning There comes a time When you'll have to fight with all you have To know what matters in your life That's when you'll realize It's up to you So from now until the end I'm gonna make all of my dreams come true I will follow my heart Our future's bright So we will fight With heads held high We'll make things right Just say the word and I'll be there Yes, anytime and anywhere The bond that we have: forever strong I am a friend you can count on Never forget when we're apart We are as one under the stars It's okay for us to say goodbye With all your might Take the fragments of your past And let them flow into the sands of time You'll be alright You must believe If there's one thing that I know It's that the truth will always lie with me It's in my heart Tomorrow waits So come what may I'll keep the faith until that day I will follow my heart It's in my heart I'll follow my heart

Persona 5 is probably the weirdest game I've ever played. I've looked at it several times and wondered why I loved it so much. "It's just another jrpg," I would tell myself. I wondered what made me love it above all others. Now today I realize what it was that made Persona 5 so special for me. It taught me how to live my life. By getting to know every character through looking at a world from a supernatural perspective. The world of Persona 5 isn't so strange from the one we live in. Maybe I don't have power to transcend into people's hearts, but I know damn well this game showed me that the world is full of infinite possibilities.

I was trapped in Tokyo because of covid for an entire month and I met an old mad, who didn’t speak English but I waved to him and said hi every time I went behind my hotel for a cigarette. He always tried to get me to go to a bar but I always declined cause I was low on cash from being stranded. So he brought his friend to translate why I was in Tokyo and if I wanted to go to the bar in English. Again I declined and said I was trapped and wanting to go home and running out of money. So then the next night I go out behind my hotel for another cigarette he stops me and hands me a bag of food. Which helped because it cut the costs of buying food myself for a few days. I met a few more friends out there too. One family invited me a hotel guest for dinner because their hotel was closing down. I talked to their son at the front desk for a while everytime I came back from exploring the first few weeks I landed and I guess he appreciated that. I mainly talked to the grandma because she knew English and learned it because she likes English songs. I wanna go back to Tokyo 😭 I listened to this song and cried when I had to come back home on the plane.

I just finsihed the game 4 weeks ago and I feel the same way you did. No friends or life pretty much the only thing I had was the P5 cast they were my connections and when the game ended it hit hard I cried and couldn't sleep that night, I am just alone once again, and I miss them so much the game literally game me what I wanted a life in which I could change people's hearts and have crazy adventures all over the city alongside people that actually cared about me, that actually valued and respected me, and when the cast goes to pick joker up in a van I couldn't stop the little teardrop and finally this song started playing and even though I couldn't understand the lyrics I felt exactly what it was saying I am just devastated and P5 became my favorite "game" of all time I put this on quotation marks because to me this game is more than just that it is a true masterpiece of pure art I am grateful but also deeply melancholic to have been given the opportunity to experience such a wonderful game. Some people at that time recommended some roads for me to take, though becoming a teacher doesn’t sound like a bad idea, it just didn’t felt right at the time. However, after finishing the game I really related to characters such as Mishima, Makoto, Ann and Oda. Although I still don’t now I thing a want to do with my life, the game gave me an inspiration to live and go there explore what I can do and finally decide what I want to do. Finishing the game left me feeling sad because I would never see those characters again, strangely finishing 11th grade felt less sad than that. The only regret I have is that I couldn’t become that close to my classmates to feel as sad as saying goodbye to fictional characters. I will make sure to make the best of my university life and try being more open to people around me. Though from the outside I still have no idea what path or career I am going to take, the game showed me that maybe today’s struggle might become future strength? The whole monologue I am leaving here is a bit cheesy for sure, but I don’t have anyone who could relate to my current situation. I feel I am ready to take first step towards something? I only hope that no one would find this speech too cringe. I will hopefully edit this comment when I will graduate from university, so stay tuned for those who could relate or just liked my strange comment.

I start my senior year of highschool tomorrow. I plan to listen to this song once more after i finish the year. I end my year on May 24th 2023, so remind me! EDIT: Well. Somehow, I made it. As of writing this comment, I've officially graduated from high school. It was a wild ride for sure, and I met a lot of people that I'm gonna cherish forever. Despite all of the bumps in the road, these were definitely some of the best years of my life. This is a song I wanna dedicate to this chapter of my life, and it's bittersweet end. My friends will do great things. We'll keep in touch. I won't slack off either. With every end, comes a new beginning, and I'm excited to see where my life goes from here! Thank you all for supporting this little experiment I wanted to conduct! I'm happy I didn't let you down!

Bro idk how people can honestly say this. Like, With the Stars and Us is fantastic but...Our Light broke into my house, beat me up, stole my money, and left me a sobbing wreck on the floor. I was sad after finishing Vanilla. I was DESTROYED after Royal.

Our Light opened the door to the huge pile of absolute heart wrenching soul crushing realisations of what the hell that bastard just did only to disappear so suddenly as if he was never alive in the first place (and apparently he wasn't). Was gonna sit down and chill like "wow maruki was such an interesting villain" and I started understanding some parts of the lyrics like "wtf???" and just sit down and cry. It's awful. The ending makes you feel like you're moving on to your new future with all the freedom you've gained, and the credits reminds you what you lost. If you were a stronger man, you'd prolly take that song as motivation to go on, like it says at the end to remember the promise. I am no man. broke down

This games so important me to because I know it sounds kind of weird but I feel so nostalgic of January-March 2020 when I was playing this game and in general everything seemed to be going well, I wasn’t depressed anymore, I stopped self harming, I had a really good friend group and then suddenly after I finished Persona 5 coronavirus became an actual problem. Like I was shown an open door when it was all pandemic walls. Like something better was just through the threshold. Now, I have an exciting series of things to talk about with my friends, new interests I wouldn’t have known about without the hundred or so hours of this game that I would have never played in a million years without a recommendation. Our Light is an amazing ending theme in its own right (I only played P5R), but this theme hits different, simply because it reuses the leitmotif of multiple other songs on the soundtrack, tying it all together beautifully. Lyn’s voice is so amazing and so incredibly powerful. There are even moments during this song (that I never noticed happen in other songs) where she can’t quite reach or hold the note she aims for, which makes it all sound so emotional. Then she belts during the climax to give me goosebumps from top to bottom.

Honestly, I love this ending. But Our Light has a very special meaning to it that this song just doesn't have. Once you look deeper into the meaning of that song it's very emotional and can make you cry. It's like the scene in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days where Roxas says "who else will I have ice cream with" when Xion is dying in his arms. On the surface it's not that emotional and maybe even silly, but if you look deeper in the context of it and how it's used, it's actually very sad and emotional.

Played persona 5 three years ago around the time joker got released for smash. The game took me three months total to beat, 178 hours. No other video game has made me feel the way this one did. After spending three months with these characters, they almost began to feel like my real friends, which made it all the more heartbreaking to finally beat the game. I still vividly remember my experience with the game, from the plot twists to the boss battles to the daily life aspect, everything about this game was simply amazing. Once the credits rolled I could do nothing but shed a tear and stand up out of my chair and start applauding. I firmly believe there may not be another game I will ever play that will ever match my experience with persona 5.

Even after beating Royal, I still love this song far more than Royal's Our Light. With the Stars and Us not only fills me up with the feeling of sadness of partings, but also joy, fulfillment, togetherness, and it gives you the message to always follow your heart. It's overall a very beautiful yet bittersweet ending song. Royal's Our Light leaves me with the feeling of empty, sorrow, mourning, and the message to move on with life, even if something terrible has happened you have to keep going. Nevertheless, I like them both but I like P5 vanilla ending song and post credit scene better.

Persona 6 sure has a lot to live up to, eh gang? Sure at the time of writing it hasn't been announced but we all know it's on the way. I think Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal may end up being Atlus's magnum opus. I cant think of any other game that has effected people's lives in such a significant way than Persona 5. While in the future we may end up looking back at Persona 5 with some level of disdain for how it influenced and changed Atlus and their practices I hope we'll still be able to enjoy it for what it is. I finished Persona 5 yesterday and sitting through the credits, I was thinking about not just my Persona journey, but my life's journey as well. I'm 19 and I'm enlisting in the military, and looking back, the times I've had and the memories I've made really align with how I felt while looking back on my Persona play through. My friends and I are parting ways, becoming adults and figuring out life, and I won't lie and say it doesn't suck, because it sucks. From friends in college to others working full time, and me leaving to the Air Force, it seems like we're leaving forever, but I'll never forget the memories we've made and the journey I've experienced. I would've never thought that Persona 5 could make me think about life so deeply, but here I am. For those who still have the chance to be a kid, take every moment you can. Don't rush to grow up. Live every moment like it would be the last. I'm only 19, but everything feels like a blur, like it came and went, and there were lots of regrets and moments I took for granted. Don't be like me, do everything, meet everyone and be happy.

[Official English Translated Lyrics from the Wiki] In the endless days We lost our place of belonging and wandered around aimlessly Streets of yesterday are reflected in the mirror Even if I try connecting the mingled pieces of the past together-- No matter how much I try scooping them up They slip through my fingers like grains of sand But even so The things I can see aren't all there is to them _It’s in my heart_ I will search for tomorrow from here on with my heart Under that sky We were able to come across each other through mutual attraction I lived every day spilling my feelings Even if I try to only add up my overflowing memories They say that physical things are all that exist in this world But where they begin or end shouldn't be decided by anyone _I will follow my heart_ Let's return to the future we aimed for Anytime, anywhere We can meet if you wish for it From now on We don't need to make promises We're looking at the same stars even if we're apart So that's why we say goodbye today No matter how much I try scooping them up They slip through my fingers like grains of sand But even so The things I can see aren't all there is to them _It’s in my heart_ They say that physical things are all that exist in this world But where they begin or end shouldn't be decided by anyone _I will follow my heart_ Let's search for our future with our hearts _I will follow my heart_ _It's in my heart_ _Follow my heart_
