Great video! I'm intrigued to know what screen, fairing you have fitted to your Dr? looks very functional! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks from Kinross Perth.

Hi Ian, the screen is made from Perspex purchased from Bunnings, cut to shape, heated at 160 degrees in the oven and shaped over a barrel 😂😂😂😂. I crash a lot and the original screen broke. i forget who made the original. I just reuse their frame and replace the screen every time I break it. 😀

@mongreldogproductions
2 жыл бұрын
Funny you should mention that….the frame is made by MadStad. I crash a lot. The original screen got busted up so I bought a sheet of Perspex from Bunnings, cut it to shape, stuck it in the oven at 160 degrees and shaped it around an old barrel. A lot cheaper than the original. Doesn’t matter how many times I crash now. Thanks for watching.

Hey Steve, looks like a good route. I just picked up a 2020 DR650 today, still got the GS just wanted a lighter bike for the bush tracks. Was out in the bush around Brookton and Westdale all morning. One thing I need is a bigger tank, standard tank on the DR is no good for bush work, thinking of the 25 litre Acerbis. I hear on the grapevine you have a big ride coming up soon, looking forward to seeing a video of the big one. Stay safe mate.
