It’s ridiculous, Pete is a fantastic poet, songwriter, musician and performer. He’s remains (and always has) so honest, pure and graceful in his interviews. These Interviewers have a fantastic opportunity to gain insight, learn about the subject matter in question; which in this case is Pete’s art, influences , future plans for his music etc. When Pat replied “no, I don’t think I could name any of your songs…”by allow guests to share stories To it beggars belief! What kind of half arsed host / interviewer are you when you have been that lazy / complacent, that you do absolutely zero research ahead of interviewing somebody and hence has no idea about the reason Pete is appearing on the ‘so called show’ Yes, he’s taken drugs, a lot of people do… and yes, he was with Kate for a short while, but if interviews (very much in this case, Pat seems like a completely arrogant, under-researched, unknowable, condescending host. It’s a real shame another interview at a key point in Pete’s career was waisted by this man and the producers of the show… Thanks for teaching us nothing Pat and no doubt upsetting Pete in the process with your unthoughtful questions. It’s no surprise after dealing with lazy journalists like Pat et al, he has increasing chose to avoid the media and public interviews. ✌️

I'd imagine that's from smoking heroin off tinfoil. The good brown smack that was popular in the UK at the time. Your fingers get brown stained from the resin that comes from the smoke. I've always washed my hands a lot so it never really happened me but you would see some people who weren't as fussed on hygiene would have brown hands. You sometimes would get a little bit on your lips also.. just from the end of the pipe. Or inside your mouth on your tongue. Same stuff that accumulates inside the pipe. Most people would make a makeshift "pipe" from rolled up foil rolled over a pen.. there's a special way to fold it so you can open it if you run out and then smoke the resin off it as sort of a last ditch attempt even though it'll not help but when you're withdrawing you'll try anything.

I think Pat Kenny did a great job with this interview. WTF do you say to someone like Doherty anyway? Doherty absolutely loved the dad like older guy way Pat talked to him, because that built up Doherties throbbing ego even higher, he traded of the fact that he was the guy who's life is getting f**led by drugs. If Kenny had chatted to him about youngs modulus then that would not have been good for Doherty at all.

He’s talking to him as if he’s his counsellor. His mental health let alone his family ties are none of his business. He should work in a rehab centre instead of doing a talk show if he wants to do that work. Jonathan Ross did a great job at it.
