This Old school Civic is amazing, I love the track spec & all the mods were done correctly, also the older "Bride" racing seat was a nice touch for the time. The Decals really set it off, there is nothing negative to say about this thing, everything was done to perfection, great job Pete!

Well done 20000 subs Danny . What a lovely car and enjoyable video . Pity about the sun roof but if its going to be a track car best thing maybe . You are getting me to think an old Honda would be a nice summer car / project . Any goodun's around reasonable as us folks up north havnt a lot of lour . Seen some nice dc2's for sale lovely looking car .And one at the right price would be better than money in the bank . And more fun lol. Do you ever do croft track days as that my local track and wouldn't mind coming to watch you handle Croft . Croft has a bit of every thing but its flat . Not like Cadwell . This is the sort of car that has started to grow on me more and more. Specially since I had a civic mk4 130hp. Now I have an Integra Type R DC2 and it's, hand down, better in pretty much everything, but there's something you just can't find anywhere else, something you just explain, mk4s (I know that's an mk3 on the video, chill) have something else, they're like grown up karts, and the mk3 might just be the same, I'd love to try one out some time.

Hey Danny and Pete.🙌 This is obviously the one everyone has been waiting for and you've definitely done it justice! The opening montage was excellent!😍 Looking at your Instagram today, the short vid of this car had to be setting records. Congratulations on this awesome Honda, Pete!👏💪 I love all the quirky bits found in the old school Japanese cars, too like the labeled coin bin at 3:19... what kind of coin was that?😜 And that clock way over there. It was almost in a different time zone.😆 Seriously though, sweet car and those painted graphics are class! Looks so nice, I figured all of that was vinyl. Amazing job on the car and quite honestly, I think this one looks nicer than the original.👊 That lip is a better looking design. When Pete said Doobie Sports, your ears perked up like my Labrador when the snacks come out.😂😂😂 As always, big thanks for doing what you do and sharing for our entertainment, Dan. Nice to know you appreciate my comments even if they are longer than the videos.😜 Cheers!

Thanks man! Yeah the video is doing well. Over 10k views in less than 24hrs! I'm glad everyone seems to be liking it, and thanks for the comment once again man. That clock really was in a different time zone haha! Wish I'd have thought of that one whilst filming... peace.

Since you have a rare Type-R, would you consider painting it like the Real Time Racing Type-R? It would be cool to see one performing numerous blazing hot laps at the Nurburgring. Trackdays at the Nurburgring is in my bucket list now. Also, COTA, Isle of Mann, and Philip Island GP Circuit to name a few. BTW, that's one clean '87 Civic. I don't see that gen anymore in my city. Definitely a show car / track car.

The car looks mint, I prefer the look of Pete's car to the orignal one personally. Nice job Pete. Good video Danny, I noticed in the intro glamour shots the tripod was moving around a little, probably due to wind. If your tripod has a hook at the bottom, try hang some weight on there to stabilise it. I think the slight movements cause the autofocus to keep adjusting. Not saying it to hate, just help, very well made video otherwise!
@dannyDC2
7 жыл бұрын
+Matas yeah man I noticed that whilst putting the video together too. I was going to stabilise it in post but it looked gash. The tripod was only like £15 a few years ago, I might look for something better if these kind of vids prove popular.
@vMaTas14
7 жыл бұрын
DannyDC2 Yeah I bought a £15 amazon basics one myself, it does the job the majority of the time, all the adjustments are abit clunky though. Ive never actually bothered to use the hook for weight myself.
