This is cool! Glad to see "Young Bambi" and "Thumper" talking and reminiscing about the animated masterpiece 75 years after its creation and how as Donnie "Bambi" Dunagan says, the film is like the opening song, "it never ends" and "it goes on". And such could not be truer of Walt's classic masterpieces, "Bambi" included! :)

Who else imagines Bambi and Thumper as older adults when they hear their child actors as adults here?

Interesting to hear Donnie's pronunciation of certain words. There's not much on where he lives now, but his Wiki says he was born in San Antonio, TX. But the way he says words like 'box' (in another video), he sounds practically Canadian. But that can't be the case, since, having served in the USMC, he's clearly an American. He must have spent a pretty formative portion of his life in the pretty far northern US to pick up an accent like he seems to display. Aside from that, the man seems to have a genuinely childlike quality, which you can see in all his work, especially his part as Peter von Frankenstein, in "Son of Frankenstein" (1939), alongside Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, and Bela Lugosi. Seeing Donnie's role in that film is what put me on the IMDB page for SoF, which doesn't seem to credit him at all (an unfortunate lacuna). Donnie's demeanor is pretty impressive, given his life experiences. The seeming utter lack of cynicism in him is truly remarkable.
