I grew up listening to the same bands you cover, and as an amateur guitarist I’ve always been fascinated when watching exceptionally talented guitarists like you cover these songs. I have always wanted to see the fingers on the fretboard playing those incredible solos .. It would be similar to a painter interested in watching how each stroke was made while Van Gogh was creating one of his masterpieces from a blank canvas to completion. That’s the the best way to explain it, I’m sure you probably understand. Your videos are the best I’ve ever seen! Subbed! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ya got one hell of an ear dude. Amazing talent to be able to figure this out. A local guitar great once told me if you can hum it, you can play it. I finally just decided I sucked and I didn’t have it, regardless of my lofty dreams of rock star badness. I actually got pretty decent, but looking back, I think my biggest obstacle was laziness.

Ah-ha! That's one more Huff movie song added to your collection (alongside Danger Zone)! Funnily enough, I was watching Karate Kid Part II recently - how strange! There are two more Huff movie songs I'd really like to recommend to you, both by Kenny Loggins: "Meet Me Halfway" (from Over the Top) and "Nobody's Fool" (from Caddyshack II) - which are the bookends to his 1988 album "Back to Avalon". Great work from Huff on both of those songs, maybe check them out too, if you wish?

Thanks, it’s the Dimension C Waza on this as apparently Dann used the Roland rack mount for it back in the day. I really like this pedal but they all have their own sound. The Tri-Avatar and Lil-wave are class too and although it’s a bit overkill I have all 3, I got really good deals on them.

It’s more so the mid boost I think to get that spanky tone like on the Tyler guitars.. These humbuckers can coil tap so I can get the single coil but it’s not the same.
@bryanstarkweather
Жыл бұрын
@@bwm5150 you have to use the combination of two single coils, because the middle one is reverse wound. That's the whole Stratocaster sound. I have a 1963 Stratocaster, and it only has a 3-way switch, so you have to balance it.
@bwm5150

Yeah of course. The middle position on this simulates that with the coil tap but it’s still not the same spank.
