We do generally, yes. Not Forsbergs generation tho who barely read English in school. Their generation is infamously bad at English and you can hear it in this speech even tho he's lived and spoke English for most of his adult life.. we got good at English after 2000 when everybody got internet!

Totally it is eerie how similar their stats are, here’s the difference, lindros concussions were self inflicted because he was a stupid goon and couldn’t play without looking down, Peter was robbed due to bad feet from birth and playing hard, nobody has ever had better puck control than Peter, lindros set the flyers back 25 years because of the bounty they gave up for his ass, Forsberg for lindros even would have been robbery let alone any of the other shit Quebec got, nobody tried harder to win at the game of hockey than forsberg

@@Chandler455 ya their stats are similar but not to many players saw the ice as well as Peter did. And crazy as it sounds he's the best scorer I've ever seen lol He just was all about setting his teammates up which i loved about him. If he wanted to he coulda scored 80 easy imo. He made goalies look plain stupid lol He's the very last guy I'd want coming down the ice with the puck. He's also one of if not the toughest and strongest player pound for pound. Didn't call him Peter the Great for nothing. But as for lindros and peter injuries really suck. And its just unfortunate Lindros had to play Scotty Stevens so much 😆

Peter “The Great” Forsberg...i think that fans from wings doesn’t have good memories about him..kkk..Go Avs!!!!
@amrieger
5 жыл бұрын
I have great memories of him as a Wings fan. I remember when he actually had an opportunity to play in Detroit (they were interested in signing him) and he felt that even though he knew it would've been a great opportunity, especially to play with Swedish teammates Lidstrom, Holmstrom, etc... But because of all the bad blood during "The Rivalry" He just could not betray the fans of The Colorado Avalanche that way. Not because he didn't want to play here, but because he cherished the fans of the Avs so much, that he could not hurt them that way. That is love and dedication to your fan base. That is what representing your fans and city is all about. We would've welcomed him here, and I think he may have lengthened his career by coming here, but you have to admire his loyalty to the fans of Colorado. Plus, as great as he was, it only made our team have to strive to be that much better the next time we played against him in order to be successful. He is truly one of the best players in the world, and he made his teammates and opponents that much better, because you had to be or you'd get your butt handed to you! During the rivalry, sure we all hated each other's players, but damn if we did not respect them and their talents.

Became disillusioned after too much violence, too many violent hits, had his spleen removed for chrissake! Quit. Understandably so. Went back to Sweden and essentially hid out for over a year. Has no love lost for the NHL.
