Such a wonderful song, with the perfect voices for each part. Was it discussed that Tim would not blink the entire video? Please continue to do more folk songs - Irish, Scottish, and other Celtic historical songs. It was incredibly beautiful.

When you said, “… not even go to the basement. Go to the … depths of the basement,” I believe the location you were looking for is “the mines of Moria.” It’s entirely possible that the note Tim hit at the end traveled through time and space to wake the balrog.

Peter Hollens has real gift for creating beautiful arrangements - quite often just with his own voice layered, but also working with other musicians. He does everything from Disney medleys to folksongs to computer game music, and it's all wonderful. If I had to pick a favourite collaboration with Tim, I'd go with his version of Greensleeves, but any of them would be a good choice. In the meantime, if you'd like something that showcases both Tim and Austin, it would be great if you could react to their version of Thinking Out Loud/Lets Get It On - two great songs for the price of one.

Far over the Misty Mountains cold To dungeons deep and caverns old We must await, ere break of day, To find our long forgotten gold. The pines were roaring on the height, The winds were moaning in the night. The fire was red, it flaming spread; The trees like torches blazed with light. The wind was on the withered heath, But in the forest stirred no leaf: There shadows lay be night or day, And dark things silent crept beneath. The wind went on from West to East; All movement in the forest ceased, But shrill and harsh across the marsh Its whistling voices were released. Farewell we call to hearth and hall! Though wind may blow and rain may fall, We must await ere break of day Far over wood and mountain tall.

Loved your reaction to this one... it’s what I was expecting 😊. I’ve watched many of your videos and there’s something I’m not sure you’re aware of. Before you begin every reaction you say “Without further adieu”. The expression is “Without further ado” as in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing- meaning “fuss”. Adieu is French for goodbye, and can mean a final goodbye where you do not expect to see the person again...I’m pretty sure that’s not what you want to say. I apologize if if it seems like I’m being too picky... I just wanted to make sure you knew.

Tim Foust does hit some impressively low notes, the lowest ones you can barely hear. His range goes from A0 to A5. But, have you ever heard of Tim Storms? He's the lowest base on the planet. Most of his range is inaudible to the human ear, so it has to be measured with special equipment. His lowest note is a G-7, which is just over seven octaves lower than Tim Foust's lowest note. Crazy to think about. :)
