I like how people were surprised at the beginning. I would have been too, wasn't expecting to hear this song live but it's an amazing track.

the best New Order song for me, and that's probably because it is so close in its theme and tone to Joy Division's work, unlike New Order's later music

Totally agreed, and it's still my favourite NO song due to the fact it sounds so much like a last gasp of JD.

Along with Unknown Pleasures, Movement is one of those albums that just hooked me first time I heard them. Soulful.

I've seen Hooky play every JD & NO album up to Republic and it's fantastic to see and hear these songs being performed live again - some were never played live and others were only played a handful of times. It's great to enjoy the recordings but you can't beat the atmosphere of live music and Hooky & the light sound fantastic live. This song is a real favourite for me - that awkward transition from JD to NO turned out to be one of the best NO albums and this is the best song of the album.

At the performance of 'Still' at FAC251 on 19 May this year we got three 'Movement' songs as part of the encore - 'The Him', 'Doubts Even Here' and 'Dreams Never End'. Excellent stuff.

Very beautiful song. Shame New Order dropped these songs.

Just read Peter Hook’s book on New Order. Steve wrote it, Bernard rejected it, Peter turned it into a moving, prolific track. It’s not just awesome, it’s Peter Hook awesome.

I am just wondering why Hooky on that one. Did he write the lyrics? Very sub Curtis song.

I think perhaps this song is about Curtis and he has the closest voice to his.

Still looks uncomfortable center stage, not knowing what to do with the bass. I truly pray that they can make amends and reunite. But then again it is a wonderful time to be a JD/NO fan with both bands essentially touring at the same time.
