Peter Jackson has an unmistakable style with his distinctively great visuals, crazy ideas and darkish humor. For some reason this type of shots - camera roll combined with a dolly/zoom move - stood out to me. They grab your attention and point to something unsettling - even if the view doesn't seem peculiar right away. There are lots more of this type of shots in Jackson's films, with countless variations. Here are the most notable ones.
