Can't always tell on camera. Different lighting, could be different origins, could be exclusively unheated/untreated. I get what you're saying but at best it's just speculation.

I would love to see an analysis of the new ruby and emerald watches by Jacob and Co. I think those were 3 or 5 million per watch. SOmething special about the stones according to JAcob but the in comments people were sceptical

The $3.5 million necklace has round cuts with an oval. The ring sucks. The $15 million are oval cuts and tier drop cuts. They're matches and among the rarest cuts in rubies. Getting a match in those cuts is arguably the hardest because of the dimensions. What's the origin? I agree that prices vary a lot on the international market.

Your videos go a long way in helping the public maneuver the world of fine jewelry, and I applaud you. I have been in the jewelry and appraisal business for about thirty years and treat each customer as though they were the VERY first. The fact that Mr. Blue Jacket does NOT offer a range of jewelry in different quality and price points is a HUGE red flag. I also don't hear him offer any advice or offer any educational information to assist the customer in understanding and finalizing the sale. He is more interested in money than an ongoing relationship with a client. Keep up your good work.
