When it comes to Bluegrass tunes so many different artists sing each other’s songs...I rarely know where a song originated Awesome to have heard this song 100+ times and 25 different ways without knowing he had a hand in writing it. Ps. I used to have a live Peter Rowan show on cd and I really wish I could find it....specifically the “Land of the Navajo > Rebel Music” combo I’d settle for a good version of Rebel music but I can’t find any version as of yet

@harrylegthigh He's just using his pointer finger to bar a normal first position A but his pinky is holding the high E and B strings where the bar chord A is... So if there was no capo the 5th fret B and E w the pinky...hope this helps BB

Check Richard Greene's album Ramblin'...released on Rounder Records 1979. Greene's fiddle, Peter's vocal...and, don't forget Seatrain, more classic Rowan/Greene as I recall...Song of Jobe...hauntingly righteous...
