Glad you like it! Praise God, after I had posted all the non bookstore Ruckman material I had(about 5 videos, 11 audio) I was prayimg for more material to post. I asked a friend who Pastors a church Dr Ruckman used preach at called Twin Cities Baptist hoping that the church Library or an older member might have some old videos of Dr Ruckman at their church. After several months he found an old brother in his church that had old video tapes and sent them to me, the ones I have now are all Betamax. Maybe like 20 tapes, about 50 messages, not all Ruckman but most are, so far were recorded either in Pensacola or at Kjv conference from Livonia, Michigan. Am working through them, converting and posting as I have time. Anything you like please download it and save to your computer. Post it or repost it or whatever. Yes praise the Lord, and also know that your channel challenged or even provoked me to look for more material. Honestly was sort of jealous of the huge amount of non bookstore material you had, forgive me. Anyway thanks for putting out all your stuff, it has been a blessing to many I am sure. Stay in touch, let me know if I can help in any way.

I strongly agree with Ruckman about sweating. I once thought it was making enough money, so I started using the air conditioner often. I became like most of the people around me. I became ultra sensitive to heat. Spending that money did me no good. Working outside, sweating like a dog and making one self uncomfortable is a very useful way to make one self more comfortable. After you take a shower you will be very comfortable and will be much more tolerant to heat. I believe enough sweating will also reduce the stink in your body after showering. A week or two will make a difference.

My Chinese is only semi fluent, but some Chinese people have told me they have heard the gospel, but not so clearly. I read the Authorised Version and then translate ideas in it to Chinese. If the person speaks English, I quote the Bible. If he doesn't I endeavour to get the point across using plain talk(Chinese). I do it in the fear of the Lord, I fear misrepresenting God.
@timchess2313

That's great that you are willing to try to witness in other than your native tongue, and to be a witness to the Chinese. If you are in their country would be dangerous for them and maybe for you too. Praise the Lord. I am a member of a fundamental Kjv dispensational Baptist church which consists of adult Phillipinos born there and children Phillipinos born here but both the children and adults speak English for the most part and all the main services and even Sunday school are in English and they are kjv and even like Dr Ruckman's teachings. A very big blessing. In Phillipines there are so many languages that the only unifying language is English, that's what they tell me. Personally never been out of this country and I am close to 60. Fine with me unless God calls me to go. God bless brother, sounds like you have done some traveling! Praise the Lord

@@timchess2313 Tim, I have been here for almost thirty years. I never thought I would be here for so long. I originally studied mathematics. When I came here to study Chinese for one year, I taught English, because because 99 percent of the Americans here teach English. I have taught math here only once a decade. The University of Colorado was here for a year and wanted an English speaking math teacher. They didn't have enough students, so that job ended. Sometimes I can translate parts of the Bible in Chinese very well, not a Bible translation, just talking to people about God, the Bible, and Jesus. The more diligently I am reading the Bible, the more likely I end up preaching the gospel without even trying. When I slack off, that seems less likely to happen. I talked to a Moslem I met here once. He said, Let us not talk about religion. I said ok, then he ended up asking me a lot of questions. I have always asked a lot of questions about unusual things in the Bible. Every one can answer the easy questions: almost no one can answer the hard questions. Sometimes God will show me something in the Bible, and later I will talk to someone who already knew it. I could not find anyone who knew the answer when I was looking. God would show me one day in my daily Bible reading. I read one of Ruckman's books once. God had showed me something. I never met anyone who knew it until I showed it to them in the Bible. Ruckman's book was a 1980 printing of a 1960 book. I was saved in 1983. Ruckman did not get it from me. And, I did not get it from him. As far as I could tell, he and I were the only ones God showed it to. After that, I really started paying attention to Ruckman. There was one other thing like that in one of his books. Often I will look at the verses Ruckman used as support for his statements. I would say, How do you get that from those verses? I thought, What is going on with this guy? One day I reread the same part of his book. All of the sudden I said, OH! I GET IT!!! There are still a lot of things I don't get that Ruckman said. If it was anyone else I probably would have written them off a long time ago. There is a lot of junk out there. I will listen to crazy stuff. If I cannot discredit it, it usually bothers me. I keep questions in the back of my mind. Usually they are questions about unexplained things in the Bible. God sometimes answers me in a minute(I mean from the Bible or very clear logic), sometimes in a year or so. I have had one question for over thirty years. I am still waiting for the answer. I would say, God will show me in heaven. But, God answered one of those types after a year. It was a big surprise to me. Later a friend told me a lot of people knew that. Some of Ruckman's stuff does not sound right to me at all, but I know he might be right. If it has nothing to do with salvation I usually do not think about it too much. I will say bye for now. God bless you, Tim.

@@timchess2313In 1911 the Republic of when a rebellion against the Ching Dynasty was successful. Later General Chiang Kai Shek became the president. He and Mao were classmates, I believe in college or in military school. I learned that here. No wonder John says Jesus did not commit himself unto them. Mao took over and Chiang Kai Shek came to Taiwan with his army and the government in 1949. It would be like our president and the government holding out in Hawaii after the communists took over the mainland. In the old days we called them Red China and Free China. I usually teach English here, and sometimes math. When I had been here about fifteen years, I was talking to God. I said, God, I came here to do your work, but I have been so preoccupied with earning monthly expenses that it looks like I have not got much done. It looks like about the only influence I have had is with my students and their parents. If I were doing it all over again(which I can't), I think I would just stay in the U.S., do my work, and focus on Bible, fellowship, and preaching Jesus. I have seen people here talking about sending missionaries to the Philippines. I have heard of some people in Korea talk about sending missionaries to the U.S. My point is whatever we do, do it seriously. If a pastor or missionary gets money, they are like any other employee. They need to perform their job well. Too many just think it is better than working for a living. I think God called me to be a regular Christian, perhaps to show that a serious male Christian can be just a regular Christian. When I was young, I had so many people call me pastor or tell me that I would be a pastor. I thought serious plus male equals pastor. Hey, that's not right. Over the years, I have seen Christians who were very vocal in my family so I thought they were not saved. It was good that I confronted my grandfather, and later my father with the question, Is Jesus Christ your Lord? That was tough. In my family, my father was a gentle man, you did what he said,.and there was no trouble. Fortunately, both of them affirmed the Lordship of Jesus Christ. My grandfather was tougher. He said, William, what....? After he said some stern words, I said, Papa you did not answer my question, Is Jesus Christ your Lord. He said, the answer to your question is affirmative. I looked up affirmative in the dictionary. It means a solemn agreement with what is stated. I am still praying for my brother. I had a hard conversation with him. I prepared Bible verses and prayed first. He told me he was not interested. I said , you are my brother and I love you and I want you to go to heaven. Something like that. He said, Well, if you feel you must fire away. What a relief. I started with the Bible verses and the Holy Spirit showed up. I could sense he was under conviction. It is always a relief when the Holy Spirit manifests himself. I have often felt I was alone talking to people about Jesus, doing it by faith. The Holy Spirit always shows up. In later years, I have found that people are more receptive when they sense that you are for real. I think we all need to pray for God to help us love people. If we loved them we would tell them about Jesus. Thank God Jesus loved people and loved us. Where would we be

The very traditional Chinese never drink cold drinks. Some traditional Chinese do, but not in the winter. I started following the second, and I rarely caught a cold afterwards. Exercise also makes a big difference. Traditional Chinese also drink green tea. I would recommend clean tea at least once a month or when you need it. I blame bad teeth on coke(soda). Listen to health nuts, pray, read the Bible, and use common sense. Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
