Today, I'm up at an unnamed Car Wash center in Pleasanton TX along W Oaklawn Rd where we have today a newer Petit Accutrac 360i car wash to view today. These Accutracs have been popping up pretty fast in various locations (especially in the Texas Hill Country) as of recently, and for pretty good reason, they're quite efficient, and very fast in their wash cycles, and my experience with these has always been amazing (these systems are completely different animals in the touch free car wash industry). This has been installed in late 2022 to replace an old D&S 5000 that's been at the site since it was built, and for the most part, it's a very good replacement (and I do believe they may have reused the original Premier dryers from the 5000), but it's a shame the original system had to be put out to pasture. I did buy the top wash for this video, which did come out to a kind of steep $16 (a bit on the pricey side, but completely worth it in my opinion), and wash quality I would honestly give this an impressive 10/10, undercarriage wash did great, the presoak passes seemed light at first but once the system did some passes back front, and then back (which would technically mean this made 3 passes), it actually ended up pretty thick and generous, now the high pressure rinse was amazing to say the least (though "amazing" would be a bit of an understatement, I would go to say that it's FANTASTIC), and you can feel the power of the high pressure rocking the vehicle back and forth, the tri-foam gave a excellent coating, as did the high pressure rinse back forward, including a 2nd pass as well which acted as the surface protection pass, the spot free rinse was great as well, and lastly, the Premier dryers (reused from the old D&S 5000 from before) did a very good job at drying off the vehicle, even for being the basic 3 producer setup. I hope you enjoy the video and stay tuned for more.
