I love your bracelet, enough to attempt one similarly designed,as my first try. I had a problem of course, so I did a strip pattern with the beads, the straight lines in the pattern highlighted my pathways. It’s turned into a great piece and my confidence level has grown. Thank You for the inspiration, I love this technique.

Thank-you for sharing this technique; very clear demonstration! Will you be using this on other patterns? How do you determine how long the piece is before zipping it up and at what point you do the join?
@genahopkins3242
6 жыл бұрын
Meri McPherson I'm sure I will try it with other patterns at some point. The place where you join stays the same as if you were joining at the corners. The length is what ever you decide. There have been several headers discussing doing the entire pattern before zipping. I will be interested to see what others come up with as PWAT is still in its infancy.

Hi Gena...love the videos...thanks so much for doing all 3 tutorials on this. I am about half done with my length and it is coming out beautifully but I am noticing that my twist is not as loose as yours appears in your finished bracelet. I keep checking to make sure that I have 4 rows of the mix and 4 rows of the solid as well as the 2 rows of the metallic and everything is good but the “slow “ twist isn’t there. Any ideas on what could be going “wrong”? Any tips ? Thanks !!

I purchased the magnets at Phill's Hobby Shop which is a local store in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The ones I used were square cubes. Disks would have been better but I used what I had on hand. I would suggest looking on Amazon. As long as they are small enough to fit in the opening you should be ok. I also used a little bit of e6000 to help secure them. Make sure they are high powered! I hope this helps.
