Unlike Converse, the company logo sticker/emblem, was placed on the "outter" side of the sneaker. SWEET!

Freddie V the original pf flyers had them on the inside, that’s really how’s it’s actually supposed to be because they are there for ankle support. So having it on the outside is pointless and purely advertising, only the new PFs have em.

@@noahwright8909 ..They are useful shoes now and always have been, plus they are made better, last longer, than converse. NB is the better company. The patch doesn't matter, it never really did much anyway, Converse patch is on inside, but PF Flyers still have better support anyways.

Those look good, Flyers are great shoes and will last way longer than chuck taylors. I have red ones. I like the green piping, and the extra stitching around the front sides. Only the 80th anniversary All Americans have it.

Hello Devon! My name is Aaron I'm gonna order these PF flyers by tomorrow and I want to know how are they holding up? Are they comfortable? Are they good for running and sports etc. And are they worth the money? It's cause I bought some low tops chucks and they didn't even last 2 months, Thanks!

How have these held up? I got a pair last year and they failed in two places. One, the sole separated from that foxing tape back at the heel, forming a gap that leads straight inside the shoe. I've glued it back several times but it gets separated easily. Two, at the flex point at the ball of the foot, the foxing tape separated from the canvas upper pretty severely. I also tried gluing that back in place to no avail. That's not really a structural issue but still doesn't look great. As a result I only wear these shoes for weight training and never wear them out anymore. I'm still on the lookout for a similar but not ludicrously priced shoe with stronger construction, ideally with a full cup sole instead of the foxing tape style, and with the sole stitched to the upper.

New Balance stopped making pf flyers about 5 years ago and were simply getting rid of old inventory fir years. Apparently they didnt sell well.. The daughter of the president of New Balance bought the rights to pf flyers but she is a hardcore feminist more into woke politics than this vintage brand and ditched all the classic versions of the shoes to push a "new reimagined" version. Apparently she burned through the last of the old leftover new balance stock of classic PF center hi's and now is only selling her ugly crappy redesigns and the "sandlot" version because all the center his are sold out and not being restocked. Apparently she does not know how to run a business and is burning this brand into the ground. Pf flyers will likely go extinct again.

So why would I pay twice as much for the US version? American manufacturing is inferior to Chinese. If it was Japanese, German, or British, sure, then I could see paying twice as much over the normally made pair.
@machcruiser5592

Adam Bond Because made in China shoes get ruined very fast. You end up paying more buying a different chinese shoe every time it breaks than buying one solid shoe. Plus factory workers in China get treated terribly bad for a very, very low pay.
