With rakshabandhan round the corner burfi is must. We already have seen 2-3 coconut burfi recipes. But this recipe is shown by my mom. This is very easy and simple recipe. It has got good shelf life. It requires very few ingredients those are easily available in your pantry. You can try this delicious recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp Ghee
• 2 cups shredded fresh Coconut
• 1 cup Sugar
• Cardamom powder
• Ghee
Method:
• Heat up ghee in a pan and add fresh coconut.
• Do not use frozen coconut. Use freshly shredded coconut.
• Fry coconut for about 3-4 minutes.
• Add sugar and mix well.
• Fry the mixture until it leaves the edges of the pan and comes together nicely.
• Take a little mixture in hand and roll it.
• If it can be nicely rolled then the mixture is cooked well.
• Add cardamom powder and mix well.
• You can add dry nuts if you want.
• Grease a dish with ghee and transfer the mixture into it.
• Spread evenly and let it cool down completely.
• No need to set it in freeze. You can set it over night if you want.
• Cut vadi into pieces of the size and shape you want.
• Quick naralachi vadi is all ready.
• It has shelf life of about 8-10 days.
