Sir I always have a doubt that the book says pharyngeal arches are mesodermal thickenings formed in relation to primitive pharynx but the very next line in the same book says that pharyngeal arches are derived from neural crest cell What exactly is the origin of pharyngeal arches? Is it mesoderm or neural crest cells?
