📚🌱 Welcome to Phase One of your HBD adventure! 🌱📚
The key to success? Deep learning. Dive into The Human Being Diet (Second Edition), to understand the rules (which result in you feeling great). Once you truly grasp the rationale and reasons behind the rules, sticking to them becomes second nature.
Phase One: 2 days of veggies only. No oil, sugar, fruit, protein, grains, alcohol, or dairy. Potatoes and pulses don’t count as veggies, and neither does sweet corn!
Detox side effects? Pain/fluey feelings? Don’t suffer in silence. Take painkillers if needed.
Keep hydrated and visit the loo regularly. Remember those Epsom salts.
Revisit your reasons for starting HBD, your WHYs. Write them down. They’ll keep you on track when occasional days feel tough.
Keep a journal and food diary. Make sure you add variety to your meals and add notes on any reactions (in P2 and 3).
Measurements matter more than scales. Muscle weighs more than fat - it’s denser. Trust your measurements over your scales.
Stick to the program. No substitutions.
Use Instagram for inspiration, but make the program your own. You’re unique. Your journey is yours. 🌟
