Thanks for your very thorough and elementary explanation. I fly a Conquest 2 strictly “by the numbers” and always consider a worst case scenario every time I take the runway. Your channel is an outstanding resource for those who want to understand what a pilot does and why.

Love the video . And man when you rotated that thing got off the ground QUICK! Did I hear you say the airplane will climb 11,000FPM at 6:16 ?? 0.0 insane!

Good explanation of what happens during takeoff. Pretty impressed you can that single pilot. Looks like everything happens very quickly in that plane. Thanks

Interesting to see V1 and Vr always be the same speed on the QRH, keep these videos coming, love them!

Great video! Awesome channel! When you get a chance could you talk a little about your progression as a pilot. How you started and the road to being a Phenom 300 pilot! Thanks ! 🙏

Is "FS" = to "V2+10" ? I'm only asking because other videos I have watched, the pilot will call out "V2 + 10" when they take the flaps out. Awesome video, loved this detailed explanation

Love your videos. I see you using the buttons on the Yoke a lot, hope to see once a video what all these buttons do. Keep them coming, love it.

Please tell me that you don't have to drag that book out and the FMS will figure out all those V speeds itself. From watching another channel, with an older Phenom 300 with the G1000, the checklists were still paper. Does the G3000 have all of your checklists built in? I read somewhere that one of the goals of the G3000 upgrade was to make the airplane "paperless" under normal circumstances. Is that true? Great video- keep them coming.

Terrific video. Can you do a video on the power setting for takeoff. In the C90 you have to keep one on on the torque guages & ITT if hot and high. Do you compute a target N1 and the FCU sets it automatically so you just push the thrust levers to the stop? What height agl to you accelerate to best RoC IAS.

Good video! On rotation there does not seem to be any tendency to over control and the same as you tuck the airplane symbol under the FD command bars. Are the controls during pitch-up slightly heavy? What is the pitch-up degrees when the TOGA switch is pressed on an ILS? Patrick from Albuquerque

A lot more to do just after takeoff than when I'm flying a Cessna 172 lol

So, it is not necessary to wait until 400 feet AGL to get the flaps up?

So,,I'm not a pilot,,,yet, but all those parameters & factors, do you enter those numbers into the nav system, and it tells you all your "V" speeds or do you have to reference those charts before every take off? Great videos btw, you're doing great, would be nice if you could record more flights,,and we like hearing radio talk as well just fyi

Yes, every take off we look at the quick reference handbook. "QRH" is the aviation lingo. Then its quick work to put in avionics. That marks on the airspeed tape in front of me.

when u get to VR does the airplane "tell" u that she is ready to fly ? or do u just run to a number and pull the stick back ?

You keep on the ground until Vr, then you pull back on yoke. Its a measured movement. Like your asking the airplane to fly. And it does!

I'm not a pilot so excuse the ignorance. What are those buttons you keep pressing with your left thumb? The button that looks like it's split into two sections. Not the one you use to speak on the radio. Is that trim settings?

Yes it is. I am pretty sure it is trim

Why is it "airspeed's alive" when you are still obviously on the ground?
@hermanwan3392

I think it means that the airspeed indicator starts moving, so you are getting an “alive” airspeed reading.
