이분들 재능은 신의 선물입니다. 두분의 연주를 즐길수 있어서 행복했습니다. Rest in peace, Phil.

These guys were pure 100% entertainment. Amazing playing and funny and full of life. Saw Phil playing in a Dire Straits tribute show about 10 years ago with some other great players. I swear Phil had the exuberance of a 15 year old. He was in his late 50s but seemed to still be a young man when on stage. I think that entertainment factor is ignored by a lot of musicians when playing live. These guys understood what they were there to do. Yes play amazing guitar. But also to engage and make people laugh. To put on a show. Make people feel good.

Even a non musician would find this amazing. I had the privilege to see Phil and Tommy quite few times they were down here in Melbourne. As a musician, I just find this inspiring. We all miss you Phil and Tommy, well just keep on going on.

I remember going to the concert and the thing stood out for me (other than their amazing playing) was when people were walking out after it was over it was so deathly silent. My guess their minds were blown to the point of being speechless.

Their dad was so impressed with their talent that he sold up and took em on tour with the family band when I think they were less than 10. It's so good that they still love playing playing these duets to the delight of themselves and the audience neary 50 years later.

Great way to get growed up quickly. my family played music too. piano, banjo guitars. string bass, violin, mandolin. All our music traveled with us on vacations...dixie land jazz, big band swing, classical, pop music, top 40, country western...rock n roll... wonderfull memories of music and singing with relatives and friends... those of us who live for and to the music experience had a leg up on on our life experiences that can be described as love of the universal language of the heart. Tommy and Phil after l was introduced by a guitar player friend to them about 15 years ago, actually altered everthing I had ever though music could be...gave me a 50 fold boost in my life long love...of guitar and all the major players of my 71 years on this planet. Thank you Tommy. Rip Phil. You are both extraordinary role models for this world of creative souls on our shared journey.

Phil told everyone that I saved his life when we were snake chasin out Charters Towers way back in 1989 when he was doing a promo tour for Charvell/Jackson and Marshall Amps with " Kakadu", He got stung by a Gympie Gympie and I used the inner bark of the plant like Savlon and it took away the pain. I saw him again at a gig in Maroochydore in the mid 2000s and he embarrassed the sheeyit outa me from the stage with his recollection of the event. He was certainly a unique individual and a true talent whose left a big hole in our lives, love to all his family and friends, my sincere condolences, Regards Joe the Roadie in a suit,

I’ve seen several interviews with Tommy Emanuel especially the recent Rick Beato interview and he never mentioned his brother. I had no idea he had a brother and that they played together. I’m in shock that there’s another Emanuel thats basically as good as Tommy because Tommy’s on another fucking planet. Wow. Thnx youtube!

La cosa peggiore che ha fatto. Il figlio addirittura ha steccato. Ci vuole rispetto per la grande musica. Nessuno é perfetto.
