I doubt that you will remember me Phil, but I interviewed you for The Glebe and Western Weekly back when you were with Genesis when you came out to Sydney Australia. You were a true gentleman in every way, and it was such an honour to meet with you. I remember when they opened the door for me here you were doing what looked like meditation. Such a beautiful memory for me. Thank you so much, still a huge fan 🌹

I'm from French speaking country. Phil Collins made me love the English language and eager to learn it. Cos I wanted to know what all his songs were about. And thanks to him I'm an English teacher and passing on my passion for his music to my students and my lovely daughter. I first heard this song when I was 12 at that time I couldn't utter a word in English and didn't understand any of lyrics of his but I was already a fan and today being able to understand his lyrics it like I'm rediscovering his songs. So I love them more again. Love and respect to you Phil

"A neighbourhood peace is shattered, it's the middle of the night Young faces hide in the shadows while they watch their mother and father fight. He says she's been unfaithful, she says her love for him has gone And the brother shrugs to his sister and says 'looks like it's just us from now on'" Every time I hear this song, these lyrics give me chills down my spine and bring tears to my eyes; they hit a little too close to home. My parents (so far) are happy together, but as a young person living in a world where 1 in 3 marriages end in divorce, this is one of the biggest fears I have. This is an absolutely phenomenal song that really strikes at the core of many problems we have in the world today - that you always need both sides of the story before you can make up your mind.

Isn't it funny how history repeats itself? :-) 4 years after "Another Day In Paradise", we run into another Phil Collins song today. Again, Phil Collins sings about the difficult situations people are in and how sometimes different perspectives are ignored and how we need to pay attention to them. I remember the images of floating high above city buildings at night but I don't remember the rest of the music video and it's refreshing to see this music video for the first time in 20 years! :-) Phil Collins was definitely one of those music artists that transcended the 1980s and had musical success well into the '90s. That didn't seem like 6 and a-half minutes there - he is a good storyteller! :-) I like the ending of that song too! After hearing him twice today, I definitely would like to see a comeback by Phil Collins in the 2010s. :-) #PHILCOLLINSBOTHSIDESOFTHESTORY
