And some of these young kids are just picking the wrong brothers, the ones who get them to do things they wouldn't do themselves in exchange for Love that should only come from a father. Guns aint the problem. A moving car will take out more people then a pistol in 1 second. Jayana Tanae Webb, killed 2 cops and 1 bystander in the blink of an eye. No gun needed just an old car an a little bit of alcohol in the blood to help with the pain of impact. Darrell Brooks, killed 6 with a car in the blink of an eye their lives were gone.

Of course it's the guns.... we have very similar social problems in the inner-cities of Europe, UK, Australia etc. But take the UK - its murder rater is 1/10 that of the UK per head of population. It's gun homicide rate 1/50th that of USA. Why? Because there isn't the access to easy guns. Flood a country with firearms and handguns and this is inevitably what you are going to get... worse of course in the inner-cities but even outside it will be far worse. Not to mention gun suicides, mental health issues and guns, school shootings etc. The war on drugs helps of course to keep drugs illegal and therefore give the profits to criminal gangs... further boosting the violence.

@@WH-hi5ew OK so while we're at it let's go ahead and blame social media for how stupid people are today and how narcissistic they are today also let's blame cars for all the stupid people speeding and driving drunk let's go ahead and blame alcohol for that too let's just blame everything that man created Instead of avoiding the real issue, when the real problem is the people. @WH-hi5ew

@@32nkdhdhekqki Sure people have responsibility - thats why we've taken it at a national level in our democracies to reduce gun crime through ensuring that guns are harder to get hold of. Both the UK and Australia have tightened up gun laws in recent decades (not that either country was ever as lax as the USA, far from it). Firearms related deaths per 100,000 people in UK is about 1/60th of USA and Australia is 1/80th that of the USA. So on average you are 60x more likely to be shot and killed in the USA than UK - and 80x more likely than Australia (!!) So I'd say it did work out pretty good for Australia... or are you just ill informed?
@32nkdhdhekqki
Жыл бұрын
@W H Apparently, you've never heard of ghost guns, Even after the guns were taken away you can still get a gun illegally yes, yea the crime for gun violence did go down after for a short period, then it shot right back up again I'll say it again the guns are not the issue you are blaming an inanimate object for something that is a societal issue
@WH-hi5ew
Жыл бұрын
@@32nkdhdhekqki If you have the statistics to back up you argument then share them. I challenge you! I looked up mine (above) on List of Countries by Firearms Related Dreaths (wikipedia). USA 12.21 per 100,000 - UK 0.20, Australia 0.15. We also have 'societal issues' (including murder, gang violence, mental health etc) in Europe, Australia, UK... we just haven't added all the guns to make our gun homicide rate anything like that of the USA. As for guns being an inanimate object - indeed, so are pharmaceutical opioids. Again, it's the USA who somehow thought that easier legal access to these drugs would be fine... yet more societal problems for the USA. Deaths from opioids in the USA went from 3,442 in 1999 to 16,706 in 2021. Clearly the access to deadly weapons and deadly drugs DOES make a difference. So let's hear your 'arguments' (such as they are) backed up with data!
