@@zerokewl3625 are u Filipino? Since grade 5 - 4th year. ..several contest na ako nasalihan...at nanalo sa mga ganyan kilangan talaga may technique and uniqueness.although may basic step pero...gracefulness smile ..dancing like a bird...

@@blackjack7794 Hi!.. Yeah, I'm Filipino. I'm currently working here in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Ako din, I was into folk & ballroom dancing, until college.. That's why I am fond of watching these kind of dances especially pag mga nanalo.. It makes me proud, as well..

This could possibly be Spanish or western in Origin. Look at the attire. Mazurka, Polka, Fandango all are western. Also, this is a folk dance. Waltz is a social dance and proms are social gathering. Plus, you don't stomp and mince in high hills.

Most Philippine dances were influenced mostly by Spanish dances....well, for 333 years of of Spanish influence, dances like this is very much evident in our dances. But what i like most are those from Mindanao...truly exotic..🤗

Filipino really like to compare. Alam mo kahit kanino mo ipagtanong Walang Magandang Maidudulot padin ang Colonization Para bang sinabi mong " Atleast Tumulong kahit nag corrupt ". Iisa lahat kayo nang Sinasabi na may ipagpapasalamat tayo katulad nang Relihiyon infact na may relihiyon na tayo bago sila dumating , Maari tayong abutan nang Christianity pero hindi sa paraan nang Pananakop. Iisa kayong lahat mga Paaliping pilipino tapos sabibin hindi sila alipin. Pero todo Pasalamat sa Mananakop ano bang pinakain sa inyo nang espanya ? Queso de bola ? Haha. Ang west ngayon ang kailangan magbayad nang Human Crime sa history lalo na sa colonization nila Ang china dumating ang impluwensiya nila sa atin nang hindi ginagamitan nang pananakop Dumating ang hindu buddhism nang Hindi pangwawasak nang majapahit sa luzon Ang islam at christians lang may paninira sa Herritage natin , hindu buddhism at anitism ang Unang relihiyon sa pilipinas. Bat ako magpapasalamat sa relihiyong may kahipokritohan. At wag mokong tatanungin kong christian ako ang sagot ko oo. Pero kahit kailan hindi ako magpapasalamat sa kanila , nasayang lamang ang paghihirap nang mga bayani sa mga katulad mong panatiko. At nirerespesto ko naman anga Christianism pero hindi sa pilipinas na puro santong kabayo.

one of the maria clara folk dance, sinasayaw namin ito way back in high school days, i forgot the name of this dance, basta ang tanda ko lng lagi yung step salok then turn, habang hawak ang tambourine

I love that the men wore *Salakots, Saduk or Sarok* : its a straw hat, that some are made of tortoise shell and other prized materials for elite Filipinos then, which makes it distinctly part of asian heritage. Mahal ko ang Pilipinas♡♡ Mabuhay!

2020 and yet still here watching this... Although it was more influence of Hispanic as you can see on what their wearing but still there's that bamboo flicks touch that represents PH.. the sound they kinda make using those bamboos, i think the dance too and lastly the traditional hats from our ancestors.

This is our dance. It is because when you say Filipino it is a fusion of Spanish and Asia. If you omit one of this elements it is not Filipino anymore. So to make it Filipino there is always a Spanish heritage just like the Latins. Even our food, religion, language, views, values and celebrations and daily activities are Spanish heritage.

What about the Korean celadon, would you say that is not korean because China made celadon first? This dance is Filipino. PERIOD

that is EXACTLY the reason why nagkampeon sila. the music is just as perfect as their choreo. match it with the same music but in a better, refined version, mawawala ang integrity and beauty ng sayaw. palibhasa kase puro ka satsat wala ka namang alam. kakasira ka ng araw.
