can you clean the dust on the fan that pushes the clean air out from the top? dust tends to settle on it, making it “unserviceable”

I was with a friend and he had the “clean the filter” symbol. He didn’t have a working vacuum cleaner so I also used a slightly wet cloth to clean the filter surface. Did I potentially damage the filter?

The Air Purifier should be used occasionally, since there comes a point where the room is cleared and there is only purified air, so the purifier can be turned off when that is the case to prevent unnecessary power consumption. The device has a maximum energy use of 60 watt. Hope this answers all your questions, if you have more, feel free to let us know.

@@zahraa6044on average, air purifiers motors last between 5-10 years. It's not something you should be thinking about replacing. They are very simple motors. The sensors will give up way before the motor will.

Could you please explain if your standard HEPA 13 filters used in your vacuum cleaners (E.g. Power Pro expert series 7000) use glass fiber or only synthetic PET + PP filtering media like in the new nano clean filters, or is it only exclusive for this new type?

I cannot reset my new replacement filter... hold for 3 seconds after turn it on purifirier and it does nothing... stays on 92% which is quite annoying. Please help.

Hi, thanks for your comment. We’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience you're experiencing with the filter reset on your Air Purifier. It seems there might be a step missing in the process. After installing the new filter, please ensure the device is turned off and then unplugged. Once you plug it back in, press and hold the reset button for three seconds. If your model has a clock icon instead of a reset button, please hold the clock icon for four seconds. This should reset the filter indicator to 100%. If the issue persists, it may be helpful to clean the air quality sensor as dust accumulation can sometimes cause incorrect readings. For detailed instructions on cleaning the sensor, please refer to the user manual. Should you need further assistance, we kindly advise you to reach out to our customer service team.

Typically, holding the button for 3 seconds after turning on the device should reset the filter indicator. Since this is not the case, we recommend trying a power cycle: turn off the purifier, unplug it for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on. my air purifier 3000i has an icon filter warning cleaning light up. so I cleaned it by following the instruction. but then the icon still showing up. I dont know how to deal with it. did the cleaning twice but no luck

The fabric of the AirPurifier should be wiped with a damp cloth and the plastic part should be wiped with a soft, dry cloth when necessary (to prevent dust from collecting). The same goes for the air outlet cover. The particle sensor should be cleaned with a dry cotton swab every 2 months. The surface of the filter should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner when the "filter cleaning alert" displays on the screen. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions. Hi, thanks for your comment. The sun icon on your Air Purifier is actually an indicator of the air quality in your environment. It does not replace the mode button but serves a different function. When the sun icon is illuminated, it indicates that the air quality is good. If you see other colors, such as blue-violet, red-purple, or red, these signify fair, unhealthy, and very unhealthy air quality levels, respectively. For specific details on what the colors indicate and how to respond to them, please refer to the user manual or visit the Philips support page for more information. If you’re looking for the mode button to change the settings on your air purifier, it may be located in a different place depending on your model. Please check your user manual for the exact location of the mode button on your device. now I need to buy a vaccum cleaner to clean the pre-filter what a mess. AC2887 series is far better than this design. You can clear air filter and clean hepa and carbon filter by removing out and tapping gently on the ground. no such facility here.

Um if you don’t own a vacuum cleaner that’s a big problem. And simply “tapping” the dust away will never get rid of all the dust and debris, let alone the harmful unseen particles . Common sense.

@@Philips I just wrote a pm on Facebook and the answer I received is just that the the described issue in the reviews is too generic and may be caused by other factors (LOL). So for Philips despite the many reviews of other customers whose AC3036/10 purifiers conveniently just after 2 years broke down won't take any action or make a recall. This is the last time I bought a Samsung product.

We are sorry you did not receive the expected response Michael. If the filter replacement alert has been on continuously, but the corresponding filter has not been replaced, the appliance could be now locked. In this case, you can replace the filter and long press to reset the filter lifetime counter. We hope this helps!
