This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. kzitem.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.

How to fix the issue with much residue inside the machine ? All around inside i have always so much coffee. After one week mold start to appear and it is not healthy.

Hi, thanks for your comment. To address the issue of residue inside your 1200 or 2200 Automatic Coffee Machine, it's important to follow a regular cleaning routine. Firstly, ensure that the brew group is removed and rinsed under lukewarm water weekly. For monthly cleaning, use the Coffee oil remover tablets CA6704 to remove oil from the filter on the brew group. Lubricating the brew group every two months with a thin layer of grease is also crucial for its maintenance. Don't forget to clean the drip tray, coffee grounds container, and water reservoir weekly. If you use a LatteGo, rinse it after each use or clean it in the dishwasher. For the classic milk frother, daily cleaning is recommended by removing the external part and rinsing it with water. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the cleaning guide provided with your machine or visit our support page. Regular cleaning not only prevents mold growth but also ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine. I bought my 2200 exactly 2 years and a week ago (guarantee holds for 2 years), but I never used the tablets for cleaning, so I guess that's why it stopped working properly in the last week or so. Still works (80% slower & quieter), but sounds like it has a lot of difficulties doing so. So today I bought coffee oil remover tablets, but I'm having a lot of difficulties following the procedure. The procedure was finished after 5 minutes, BEFORE I managed to UNPLUG the machine, because it didnt seem to me that a "HALF a CUP of water has been brewed" (even though u have us put a CONTAINER under the coffee spout, so it's kind of hard to estimate that) I decided to give it a second go. I put in another tablet, unplugged the machine when a QUARTER of cup of water has been brewed, but not a single drop of water came out in the next 15 minutes; sounds logical to me (as the UNPLUGGED machines usually don't work), but in your video water is pouring out even while being unplugged). After 20 minutes I inserted the main plug back into electricity, but of course I didnt have to switch the machine on (like u say), because it wasnt switched off but only UNPLUGGED, and again, only a drop of water or two came out. After that I rinsed the brew group and the upper filter thoroughly (which I didnt really have to, cos I do that every 2 weeks), repeated the brewing cycle twice, but nothing's changed. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your question, Marc. If the alarm light is on, it could be that the coffee grounds container and/or the drip tray is not in place or not placed correctly. Place back the coffee grounds container and/or the drip tray and make sure they are in the correct position. It could also mean that the service door is open. Remove the water tank and make sure the service door is closed. If the alarm light is on, but also the start light flashes: some air is trapped inside the machine. To release the air from the machine, fill the water tank with water, place a cup under the classic milk frother and press the flashing start/stop button. We had to leave the machine uncleaned for some time. Now the residues are dry and sticky on the internal surfaces. Is it okay to use some vinegar and brush for cleaning?

Hello, I bought this machine a year ago and it been working fine with making my coffee but, the taste of coffee has change, the froster is not the same as before and most importantly after a while it start smoking a bit suddenly even if I don’t use it a while, sometimes it feels like my coffee taste burned too, I been trying to keep giving it tablets for the oil remover Monthly as suggested also I change its water filter as it says when it’s needed for a aqua clean and put the grease on it so be it lubricanted but this has been happening, I’m not sure when to decalcfier cause the light for the calc/clean hasn’t showed up yet and I usually don’t drink more than 5 cups a day and it has been a year, so I’m not sure what’s the issue and when should I descaler it?

Hello Phillips, I want to ask about the motor (the one where it grinds coffee) yesterday I cleaned it and let it dry and we applied lubricant and today we put it in and the coffee maker started to squeak very hard, we barely fixed it then we put a calk wedge on it and then recovered. I don't know why it hasn't done that before, this is the first time. However, it seems to me that the wire where it grinds coffee has been moved, but if that's the case, I wouldn't start coffee now.

Once per month im making cleaning with special tablet thats clean all stain and dirt inside of unit. After that rinse brew unit. (20 minute od your time)Thats all. Two times in a year im changing filter. Once per year making complete cleaning inside/outside with brush.

in terms of physical work, there isn't much to do actually , the weekly ones take 30 sec - 2 min, it's more of brain work rather than physical, remembering to do all these maintenance steps in time to not mess up or clog the machine.

Show me the coffee machine, that doesn't need to get cleaned. To think of buying such a machine and never have to do anything again, is unbelievably stupid. You've gotta clean EVERYTHING from time to time. Same even with engines.

When I put philips oil removing tablet in the ground coffee compartment, press cup coffee button for 3 secs and let about half cup water thru before unplugging for 15 mins then turn on again, I find the tablet more or less whole in the coffee grounds container - surely this can't be right? Doesnt seem to be cleaning the brew group compartment. Help please.

Hi! Depending on the usage of your espresso machine, see below advised frequencies: If you brew 1 to 5 coffees a day, lubricate every 4 months. If you brew 6 to 10 coffees a day, lubricate every 2 months. If you brew more than 10 coffees a day, lubricate once a month. Thank you!

Using only the CA6700 descaling solution is not enough to properly clean / maintain your device. Could you please let us know in what country you reside? Bonjour, Merci pour votre commentaire. Si le groupe de percolation est bloqué, réinitialisez la machine à café de la manière suivante : fermez la porte d’accès et replacez le réservoir d’eau. Ensuite, mettez l’appareil hors tension, puis remettez-le en marche. Réessayez de retirer le groupe de percolation en appuyant sur la manette PUSH et tirez pour l'enlever de la machine. My machine has a classic frothing wand. I always use cold whole milk and clean the wand properly. But for about two months now, I couldn't get any decent foam to make latte art like before. Pressurized air still comes out strongly, but the milk only rises up a little bit in volume, no foam. What could possibly go wrong?

I just bought this machine less than a year ago. There are the three lights , no water, the dish full with coffe pods, and atention, situated one under the other on the right side. They are all light up in the same time, can`t make any kind of coffee. Took it to the shop, two days later, same problem.
