In this video, we’re going to look at the features of the Philips Tempus Pro Monitor. It’s the most advanced patient monitoring system available today, designed for healthcare providers and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel. It’s light and portable enough to be used in prehospital settings by first responders, with a touchscreen that can easily be operated with gloved hands and battery life of over 10 hours.
As a general purpose vital sign monitor, the Tempus Pro can monitor the following parameters:
3,4,5,12-lead ECG monitoring (real-time arrhythmia detection)
NIBP (Non-invasive blood pressure)
Invasive pressure (4 channels)
SpO2
ETCO2
In addition to monitoring a number of patient vital signs, the Tempus Pro’s capabilities can be expanded via USB to include ultrasound, video laryngoscopy (with optional ultrasound probe and video laryngoscope imager), and defibrillation functionalities.
The Tempus Pro Monitor automatically tethers to the Tempus-LS Manual defibrillator, forming the Tempus ALS system.
Using the Intellispace Corsium software platform powered by Masimo, The Tempus Pro Monitor can also transmit real-time patient data and summary record of care over the web, to devices, or directly to ePCR software for data management. The Tempus Pro Monitor also features telemedicine capability, with two-way communication between first responders and hospital staff ensuring continuity of patient care.
