@@Ben-rz9cf jodie had a couple of scenes that showed she could have been really incredible as the doctor. but she was never WRITTEN as the doctor. she tries really hard to elevate the material, she’s a fantastic actress, but the writing is really bad. it’s like they don’t understand who the doctor is at all. cunk would be an interesting doctor. her sense of humor would be strange. but i don’t know if she’d be able to pull off the ancientness. so much of her character here is pure detachment, and the doctor is so invested in the things around her. i can’t imagine cunk wanting to save anybody from anything.

If you'd assume that it just reflects all visable light, it would be white and you wouldn't see a reflection, since that is what happens when all light is reflected (like a white sheet of paper). A mirror is not white, so it's a tad bit more complicated than that, it has to do with probabilities of wether the light can be reflected or not. There are YT-videos explaining it way better than I ever could, it's quite intresting (at least for a nerd like me).

Just think, she has to be completely un flappable for these bits to go off or else the bit is completely toast. She has to say these ridiculous things and never *ever* *ever* crack, or corpse, or even grin, ever, or the jig is up. And that's not something many people could even possibly do.
