Thanks you. I learned about this wonderful man after reading Joseph Murphy's book, The Power Of The Subconscious Mind. Apparently Quimby invented the "argumentative method" of suggestion which consists of reasoning where you convince the patient and yourself that sickness is due to his false belief, groundless fears and negative patterns lodged in the patient's subconscious mind. Apparently Quimby's method achieved extraordinary healing results.

Yes, when what you believed to be a truth turns out to be a lie and you come to know this, it changes the mind/fluids and effect of deception (suffering) ceases. The process of analyzing the ideas to see if they are based on truth or lies is the Science Quimby taught.

Sweet kindhearted man! Spent time with ppl one on one enlightening them to freedom of sickness. Giving his time more than he should have possibly....maybe even to his detriment. But I believe he did it out of profound love to help who he could to heal their thought and in doing so their bodies of all manner of disease and infirmity. Brining true happiness.

Phineas was the man . Understood the universal law of one and how it is manifested with duality into the world . A man who could bridge the gap between faith and science. Two dueling body's of thought that actually should be embraced together . Instead the establishment would rather have you fight between the two as if they aren't connected. A true healer this man .

I agree, he's a True healer, and is one of the only persons I know of who's works weren't adulterated, confused and misinterpreted like the Bible. He cured as Jesus, and is as far I know now, the only pure source of this Wisdom written on paper. How long have you been studying Quimby's works?

I've been studying Quimby for only 2 months at this point and just acquired his manuscripts . I am very interested in holistic approaches to anything in life because I believe it's really the only way for people to truly understand, heal and grow.

Ian Cherkes Great, if you ever want to talk on this subject, shoot me an email. I've been following this Wisdom for about 10 years now, since I was 22, and it's kept me from becoming sick or even fearing any disease period all this time.

Awesome ! I have recently become very interested in questioning vaccines and the obvious problem With them being dangerous to people. Any thoughts on this ?. It is a health crisis more than the threatening virus people justify the vaccines with .

Ian Cherkes Viruses are not dangerous at all, if they even exist. It is our beliefs that they are dangerous and are real that hurt us just according to what we have embraced without proof. Has anyone ever followed a virus into the body with a camera and seen it do it's damage? If not, it's all hearsay, and would never hold up in a just and fair courtroom with a shrewd and wise attorney.

I read this guys book. He says that the lungs do not breathe air.

I have read his books as well, he sais: Now if any person of ordinary intelligence capable of understanding any kind of mechanical principles will stop one moment and look at the construction of man's internal organs, he must see that it is impossible for the air to go into the lungs. Giving the disciples of this belief the advantage of all they claim, it will be seen that if God intended that the air should go into the lungs to purify the blood, he put man to a great deal of trouble to get it there according to their own explanation. For we are told that the air goes in at the mouth or nose, passes down the windpipe, and enters the lungs, purifying the blood and is then thrown off. According to this route, the air that goes into his nose must first come into the mouth to meet the air in the mouth; after meeting, they find their way down the windpipe. Everyone knows that there is a valve or clapper on the upper end of the windpipe to prevent anything from going down. This valve is closed all the time to prevent anything from going down when we eat or drink. Now to suppose that a person is breathing air into the mouth which passes down the lungs, one must either be ignorant of the effect of the circulation of the atmosphere or have never thought of the absurdity of such a belief. Just let common sense look and see how absurd the idea is. Everyone knows that cold air rushes where the air is warmer, for the warm air is more rarified, and this forms a partial vacuum; and the cold air, according to a natural law of heat and cold, would rush to fill the vacuum. Now as the heat in the brain is warmer than in any other part of the system, the cold air would rush to that place according to a natural principle. The nose is constructed like a steam chamber with small holes or apertures for the air to pass through and pass into a larger chamber; this forms a bulkhead at these apertures, so that the hot air must pass down into the mouth. Now the amount of cold air that can pass down into the lungs is so small that it is not worth a thought. Full Article: www.ppquimby.com/articles/breathing.htm
