The Phoa Paysu is a traditional coconut milk and jaggery-based dessert which is spiced using cardamom (elaichi). It is usually made during the Nagar Panchami festival and is a delicious treat to enjoy occasionally. It is strikingly similar to panchkadai, which is a commonly distributed prasadam during poojas.
INGREDIENTS:
50 Grams Poha (Flattened Rice)
20 Grams Cashew nuts
200 Grams Jaggery
200 ml Coconut Milk
500 ml Water
