Great webinar. In a short period of time the basics were made clear. One hour is difficult to try and fill in all the blanks. Thank you Karen

This was exactly what I needed. As a - rank - beginner, many of Corel's tutorials are excellent, but... they move so fast that I can't even keep up with what the presenter is doing. I found Karen's webinar to be easy to understand, paced well, covered basic tools that got me started quickly, and - just focused on the core outcome to get great painted photos. I also recommend her books - equally clear and insightful. Thanks Karen!

Thank you Karen. I found this video to be VERY! helpful. I am new to digital art/painting having recently purchased a digital pen tablet. My background and focus has been traditional drawing and oil painting. I am experimenting with the digital drawing & painting tools in Corel Painter 2020 to generate ideas for my figurative ( based on my own model reference photos) oil paintings. I was fortunate to study classical figure drawing with Harry Carmean while attending Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Your videos (including the demonstration videos) that accompany your brush-pack purchase offers really help me understand how to use the various brushes to best advantage. Your descriptions on how to turn one brush into three variants was especially enlightening. --Michael

Great stuff for sure - but wish you had not kept your promotional background painting on screen all the time. Since the same photo was up a number of times it gets confusing which is which.

Best to save in Tiff to avoid Jpeg compression, after all the hard work why anyone wants to save in Jpeg. Yes the file is smaller for Jpeg, if quality you are after save in Tiff!

Definitely too many words and too little specific content, and all this to finally send everyone to their own website, where there is nothing for free. There is no demonstration of how to achieve the step-by-step effects demonstrated at the beginning. Only a substitute. Not everyone has your brushes. It takes a lot of time to get to the best settings by yourself, unfortunately. A helpful hand would be salutary, unfortunately it is not here.

Painful to try & watch. Close everything you've not using & write a script. You are all over the place

Once upon a time artists who painted realistically tried to make their paintings look like a photograph. Now, digital manipulators try to make a photograph look like a painting. 🤦♂️ How sad. You wrote the manual? What a shame you couldn't translate it into an effective teaching video.
