Hello, I have a rather urgent question. I performed a "low" quality treatment (cloud, alignment...etc). If I want to switch to "high" quality, is there a way to reuse the work done in low quality to reduce the working time or do I have to redo everything from the beginning in high quality? Thanks.

This takes 10 times longer than 3D Zephyr and the results are the same and it bitches about "not enough memory" when I have 32GB of ram. 3D Zephyr never even blinked and did the whole operation in 30 minutes. The same operation takes more than 3 hours and then gets stuck and says not enough memory. Lucky I try before I buy. Back to 3D Zephyr for me. This is shit.

There may not be enough texture for it to get the shape of the skin. Details are everything. As an experiment, wear a band-aid on one cheek and see if it works better on that side.

That happens when it actually reads the background! It means it cared more about whatever it could align on the background than the object. Turntable work is an art form because you need to make sure that the software can’t see it.

Hey, just wondering if someone could help me, at uni my group are going to attempt to try and construct a 3d model of a salt creek/pan using this software, however im unsure how what way is better to take pictures? Is it better to take multiple pictures at different heights in one sport and then take a step and then repeat taking multiple pics at the same (rough) height, or is it better to circle the area and take 1 set of pics and then take a couple of steps back and then take pics at the angle and then take another step back and repeat taking the pics again?

Hey Tom. A good way to take 3D data collection is upside down cone shape (imagined in 3D) and try say, 3 different hieghts. eg. The higher layer of picks will be more distant from the salt pan. Imagine the salt pan with a tornado above it. You take the pics at 4ft high, go further away and take pics at 6 ft high etc
