To be fair, that was an absolutely legendary episode of TNG. Probably one of the best IMO. For those who haven't seen it, Picard is knocked into a coma by an alien probe they find floating in space. Whilst in the coma, he experiences the entire adult lifetime of another man, living on a remote planet. At first he is confused and doesn't accept what is happening, but over time he comes to terms with it, forgets his life as a starship captain and accepts his new life. He lives a long and fulfilling life as a scientist, raises a family and becomes very skilled at playing a type of flute that is common on the planet where he lives. He eventually dies as an old man, surrounded by his family. He then wakes up back on the enterprise, and only seconds have passed since he was knocked into the coma. But for Picard, he has literally just experienced an entire lifetime. They inspect the probe and find the flute inside it, which he keeps as a memento of the experience. He can play it very skillfully due to his experience whilst in the coma. The probe was designed to be a record of a species and society that was wiped out by a supernova hundreds of years ago. The flute continues to feature in the series from this point onwards, and later helps him strike up a romantic relationship with a female officer who is a skilled pianist. So yeah... It's definitely a pretty awesome flute, and I'd much rather have that than a dead squirrel!

"Money" might have still been the blowout answer, but Peter played it safe because he knew it would pay off. For those who might not get the whole thing, look at 0:27. They survey 100 people and sort the answers by the number of responses. There's a space marked "1". The space below it is 27. That means 27 people out of the 100 person survey chose "jewelry". The space marked "1" is another answer which had more than (or at least equal to, not entirely sure) 27 responses. And the points you get are equal to the responses. So there's a mysterious "1" on the table that would win everything. The checkerboard pattern on the other slots implies there's nothing there. Adding up the remaining numbers, there's clearly more than 50 points just on that #1 answer. I only point this out because usually Peter is remarkably stupid, but he's crafty when it counts (or when it's funny). Needing just one point to win, it's obviously better to go with the sure thing, even though it's only one point. But it's still a slight departure from the usual doofus.
