Today I’m telling an art story, and drawing. I used to like drawing from these old photos of Picasso’s Montmartre, as a kid, and reading stories about the Bateau Lavoir, one of Picasso’s earliest studios. Paris was full of important artists at the time, and Picasso and Braque's "Cubism" caused a storm in the art world.

Every attempt has been made to credit all artwork, photos etc. accurately, and to respect copyright licences/ fair use licences/creative commons licences etc.. I would have liked to be able to include more of Picasso’s work than I was able to, but I have provided links below, for your further exploration of his art.

A little interactive game on a website, that challenges you to navigate your way to Picasso’s studio in Montmartre. Good fun, seeing what the area looks like, now if you haven’t visited it: artsology.com/...
