I have been married for almost 10 years and it is so cute seeing you guys discussing this topic. Enjoy this video very much. On the other hand, once you got married, everything will be different. Not as what you have imagined. And you will realize life just carry on and no one is perfect. Maybe you can interview married couples with or without kids, what love is. You will get different answers. *wink

I’ve been married for 7 years and this episode is so cute. I would say finding “the one” puts too much pressure on yourself. And there will be difficult times in marriage where you may question your choice in your partner. Relationship is work and each partner needs to put work into it. I hope you all find someone that cherishes you.

Interesting discussion! I don't totally agree with Nicole though, that good people attract good people. One thing I have found is that good people will attract everyone, the good, the terrible, the toxic, 'cause even toxic people are also attracted to beautiful things. The key here is to learn how to filter sensibly. There are genuinely good people who unfortunately keep getting entangled with toxic people for so many reasons. I just hope they don't see themselves as a reflection of the kind of people who seek them out. And as I always pray: May good people find good people. BTW, I love your content. Always.
@Ashnesss
5 ай бұрын
LOL no it’s not their job to filter. Good people don’t chase or pursue toxic people. Toxic people pursue, chase, harass and abuse good people. It’s their job to have self control and discipline, and NOT ruin people’s lives or mistreat people. Good people establish boundaries and stay away. It’s the toxic ones who don’t buzz off and poke their nose where it doesn’t belong. You’ll never see a decent person taking interest in a toxic person. It’s always the toxic one who’s interested in the decent person.

I was hanging out at my friend’s parent’s restaurant at our local airport. A Pilot approached me & said, he had a flight but could he call me. I said sure, not expecting much but hours later I got 2 calls at home and it was him, I wasn’t home and later on he showed up at my house. My friend’s mom had given him my info and he’s been calling me ever since. 😎 That was 38 yrs ago this past Summer. He is still a Pilot ✈️ and 4 children, (3 married) 1 granddaughter, 4 dogs and a cat later our marriage is still strong as the day we met. It was love at first sight for him. What I have learned in my Life is Love matter’s but like I said before…it’s all about EFFORT, whether it’s, family, friends, co-workers, partner’s or spouses. It takes 2 people to make a relationship & 1 person to decide it’s over. Food for Thought: 🤔 If one person realizes they are putting in all the “Effort” it get’s old & tiring & this will make any relationship fail.

One thing people don't really know about is those who is giving is the ultimate winner in relationships. They are to be seen as fool but they tend to give their heart to the fullest so when they break up, there's no regrets left for them. Those who is receiving, on the other hand, look like winning in the relations but they are likely to take all the love they have for granted. When the relationships are over they regret and can't forget the big heart they'd had, leading them to make a call to the ex when drunk or lonely while the ex is having a great date with another. So, if you feel like giving anything no matter big or small to your bf or gf, just do it. Don't think of it as you're losing. Your genuine heart and love will be cherished.

Great video! I spent years trying to look for "The One", but I realized that I really just want someone who will kick it with me and my love for anime, K-dramas, K-Pop and telenovelas until the grave (100551 years from now) . I really was set on my "type" in my 20s and didn't realize I was blocking out quality guys. I'm 32 now and I'm more lax in looking for my counterpart and I'm interested in seeing who I'll ultimately connect with.

So based off this, what you're saying is I need to find someone that is INTP (like Jason) or ESFP(like Eunsu) lol. I have no problem doing random and weird behavior in public, I literally dance sometimes waiting for the bus lol. New subscriber...good convo. Been happily married 15+ yrs. (I'm Asian, he's Irish). As someone (going into this relationship) with self esteem issues, I have to say that my husband has been my rock and staunchest supporter. 31 years of age, so still a young perspective lol: 11 years with my husband now and 4 being of marriage. It was undeniably fate with my husband, but we’ve had our fair share of needing to ‘control and handle’ our relationship with care to keep it striving. We are but only humans. Fate will allow something to happen, but it’s also up to you to care for it to workout. I’m quite driven in my career, but I look at relationships similarly to my career. I can be the best suited and qualified candidate for a job, but if it’s not fated, the opportunity won’t be given. I can also be non-qualified and by fate be given an opportunity. Either/or, it all requires your own efforts and care to truly succeed. You don’t have to believe in chivalry, but fate is one to not overlook lol. Love Eunsu and Jason’s perspectives!

I agree first love is special for sure since it’s the first time you experience feelings like that but you don’t take it to the grave yard for sure. I’ve been married for 25 years and there is only one man in this world I’ll be taking in my heart to the graveyard and that’s my husband for sure. He wasn’t my type when we first met and we have extremely different personalities and interests but I love that guy. He’s everything I needed

You nailed it talking about the “combination of things”. I always say that you need a combination. Not one thing over the other. If you don’t have everything in a certain dose, it can’t work and you’ll feel the gap. John nailed it with the reciprocating part 👍🏻 I’ve been through a living hell for 7 years because a random psycho who I had rejected, committed crimes against me and couldn’t pick up on the fact that he had NO chance whatsoever. I’m shocked at how DUMB he is and how little he knows about human behaviour and male female dynamics. John and Jason, you guys are smart, kind, DECENT, funny, positive and you have great meaningful relationships in life, which is always an important sign. You’re the perfect example of the modern professional man who keeps learning. Personally, I think John is hot 🦋

I don't think we need to learn ourselves from other people ... so dating various people is not necessary at all, it's even confusing ... our character will develop because of experiences and various problems in life but not from other people, meetings of various people or dating random people will actually add to the problem and confuse because not necessarily the people we are dating can actually add good input for the development of our character and personality, dating or meeting the wrong people will actually reduce energy, waste time and increase our psychological burden. in many ways, thus hindering the development and growth of our personality, if you want to develop well, and add wisdom and knowledge in life, hang out with seniors in the business world, businessmen, people who already know the acid and salt in this world, so that your character develops, not through dating and meeting just anyone who does not provide psychological benefits and the economy at all

@LKelly-ep8ce
Жыл бұрын
Ok, so here's experience talking. When you think you met "The one," you might be wrong. You ask why? First, men or women tend to be physical attracted, but meeting "The one," is nonexistence. People tend to have high expectations and when those standards go down just a bit, you might just meet "The right person." How can that happen? Simple, be open minded, honest, faithful, (yes, even when you're dating) independent, be a good listener, (don't just hear) have things in common, (same interests are important) and most important, patience and communication is key to a happy and loving life. Don't expect perfection, that doesn't exist! Lastly, don't put your happiness on that other person, it just doesn't work that way, as your happiness is in your hands each and every day. Do what you love without hurting anyone, a motto I go by and 30 years later, I'm as happy as I can be. Good luck everyone!!!

Lmao Well dating multiple people do make you see better of yourself but maturity wise, a person would compromise her likes and dislikes for better situations for a healthy relationship you know. Be the bigger person is more mature rather than learning or how you are. Everyone is meant for other people and they can get along well depending on who is the bigger person as I see it.
