Is it possible to increase the weight of my driver shaft by putting lead tape on it for testing purposes, and if so, where on the shaft would it be correct to put it?

Shaft weight matters to me, too light and I feel as though I lose where the head is, too heavy and I slow down - not that I am that fast to start with. The difference in my hands between a 50g and 75g driver shaft is night & day. Ideal driver shaft weight for me is 55-60g Having recently got a TZ6 shaft in my driver, it is the counter balanced shaft that really surprised me. It has the ideal weight for me but is just so much easier than a similar weight shaft, I picked up a little speed and it is incredibly consistent. It is so important to have a proper fitting that looks at shaft weight rather than just flex. Not just for the driver but for every club, except maybe the putter, in your bag

I like the video however I must disagree with the statement that you can’t feel flex I feel and see the flex of my driver shaft resulting in getting a new shaft

It is such a personal preference that the testing provides nothing to the individual since personal choice will run the gamut of a thousand choices; and finding what is right for you will be a slog and a hunt.
