The players making the service mistakes were picking up their heads too quick and that brought their bodies up causing them to hit poor serves and returns.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll go back and take a look.

I'm trying to learn that 4th and 6th shot at the kitchen line by the guy in blue shirt: 10:49 and 10:52 What is the name of that shot? Volley under push?? I want to ask the Rec Center coach to help me master this 4th and 6th shot.

He's just able to take it out of the air instead of letting it bounce before hitting it. He's kind of doing a flick that starts at the 6 o'clock position. Thanks for asking.

We have many new players that think pball is just standing on the baseline and slamming the ball. They are not fun to play with.

Yep! I They just want to hit it as hard as they can across the net and think that actually have a chance of winning. Thanks for watching

That's your advice? "Be sure to get your serve or your return of serve into the court." Seriously? Ummmm no kidding. I'm moving on now.

You'd be shocked at how many beginner players think they can hit ace a serve or hit a winner return of serve. There are 114 million KZitem channels out there. I'm sure you will find one you agree with. Thanks for the time you did spend with mine.

Things that kill me in rec play are getting a partner that 1: wont move up to nvz and plays back of court or 2: plays mid court. I cant stand having a partner that wont play up. And this video i don't believe i seen the first group get to dink at all.

Always enjoy your analysis as it is precise and good habits to form early in progression. But honestly, good intentions are in my head. For example, I want to be a great singer, but with training and lessons, actual singing genes, ability is another thing.

I really think a person can learn anything if they put their mind to it. Ten years ago I could not sing. I decided I wanted to learn. So, I took lessons. I worked on it, and, now I can sing. Thanks for watching.

You're kinda hard on these poor bastards but I get it.. SOMEBODY should teach the Servers the DROP-SERVE!! it's far easier and builds confidence for beginners. At- 6:45 you say "run as fast as you can to the line..?? WRONG!! Get there "as quickly as possible while maintaining control"... Racing to the line put your body all out of sync and you are not prepared for the ball.. Besides, many beginners are not real quick anyway..😅😉

great training video, I have been in an RV park with one court and 10 beginners. will share this with them. #3 I call court awareness, understanding where a person is on the court and when. you covered all the basses.

Great tips. It would be nice if most players could watch this video to learn. Many players like to play from the base line, not effective pickleball.

Thanks for watching. You cannot win from the service line. I see players hang back there all the time.
