Les Paul… expected the Heritage but the LP does it for me

Hey i just got a heritage identical like yours but my serial number is engraved like the Gibson rather than written by hand. It came with Grover’s but I like the look of the Gibson old school tuners, was it difficult to change them? Funny enough I love the old style tuners but love how precise the Grover tuners feel 😂

I don’t believe it was difficult to change them. I asked my local tech to swap them. You just have to be ok with drilling another hole for the tuners. Since my LP standard was a neck repair survivor, I figured since the worst had already happened, another hole wouldn’t hurt it lol 😂😂

Did you have the tone rolled off on the Heritage? I still preferred the Heritage.

I did not. I find the SD 59s in the heritage to be a little hotter than the Gibson pickups.

@@nelsonmann Thanks for your reply. Like the way the SD 59's growl a little with the Heritage. Just ordered the Heritage in Dirty Lemon Burst.

I have a 2021 Gibson standard 60s LP bourbon burst, and have a 2021 Heritage H150 Standard OSB. Love them both. My main number 1 Guitar is the Gibson standard 60s but last night used the Heritage H150 for a change at a gig with the band, and omg 🔥 stunning guitar it really is, but the Gibson just has that character, also the burstbuckers sound so good. Seymour Duncan 59s in the Heritage do sound really nice for sure, I'm still not a massive fan of the 50s style neck on the Heritage personally, I'm slowly getting used to it but its hard work more than it needs to be for me, absolutely love 69s slim taper neck on the LP 👌 Both sound great in thier own vibes i feel. Sure the Heritage has the LP looks and cosmetics but it's not the Gibson, so for that i like to think they're both great in their own ways.

I’m buying a Heritage, I think they blow Gibsons away. And I have a Gibson Les Paul that I love.

The Lp sounds warmer than the heritage, When you are doing the single notes. When you get to the chords to me they almost sound identical but that's me

Gibson ! Has the midrange snarl that is characteristic of Rock. Will hold and fetch its market value making it a solid investment. The H150 and PRS 594 Single Cut sound close to one another with eyes closed. Smooth and sterile character. A new H150 will loose it price like a bad bet from front door to the parking lot. Makes a better player buy for used though if investment value has no relevance.

You clearly havent been paying attention to the used heritage market. Heritage guitars hold their value very well.
