And even to this day, it's easier to list the fruits and vegetables I like than the ones I don't - most of the ones I like, I only like a certain way eg. I only like raw carrots and I think spinach is disgusting unless it's served in that white sauce and with salmon - then it's suddenly the most delicious thing ever. Hey, because you're autistic you may not be picking up on the social cues - as someone who's being tested for autism right now, I had trouble with that myself and had to be taught when someone was making fun of me. This is not something that is met in fun. They are making fun of people who struggle with eating certain foods. That's why they use the infantilizing terms of comparing their food to dino nuggies, which is something typically children eat. That's why they also compare people who eat like that to four year olds. This is not something that is kind in any regard. This is someone using superiority, under the guise of comedy and trying to make themselves feel superior. It's actually quite bizarre.

Interesting little tale from a Chef mate of mine regarding the presence of cream in Carbonara outside of Europe. Convenience. It makes sense the cream acts as an extender and a stabilizer. During service a large vat just sits there - ladle away add your pasta and you're done. It's no longer an intricate pork fat, pasta water, egg yolk and cheese emulsion.
